That's absolutely right. The QFG2 which appeared on the QFG Anthology disc did not have this bug any more. But I remember a friend of mine who owned QFG2 floppy disc version many years ago had this 'sell beard bug'.

Well, if I remeber correctly, the original QFG1 had exactly the same problem sometimes when displaying a high experience. I think back then it had to do with the numbers not all having the equal width - e.g. a "5" needing more space than a "1".
