Re: Gwydion and Rosella sprites?
I wonder if it would even be legal for them to give them to you. Given their agreement with Activision, as far as I am aware, all of the work is property of Activision and would have to come from them. I could be wrong though.

Well, it's the 15th. In any hour you will witness SQFG in all of its greatness. I just finished playing it and it is awesome! It should release some time before 8:00PM Eastern Time US. I hope you love it!

Re: Question?
I would suggest you look around and try to see if there is anything you couldn't do in the original game. If you are not familiar with the original, I would explore the different locations trying to find anything you can that might help you in your quest. There are some interesting things you might ...

Re: Question?
You can find the lever, but you wont be able to open the trap door without going into town first. It isn't a 1:1 remake of the original, they made a few changes.

Search the bookshelf. You might need to go into the town to figure out how to get it open once you find the levers.

not answering and ignoring are quite different things. Either they are laughing at those on a wild goose chase, or they are waiting patiently for the forums to explode with the discovery of an awesome easter egg...or they are nervous that the egg sucks and they don't really want anyone to find it be...

Make sure the hotspot (little dot) on the hand icon is over the spot where the levers are. If it is not aimed correctly, it wont work.

dank - "unpleasantly moist or humid; damp and, often, chilly: a dank cellar" I guess this is what I am getting at. Have you ever been in a basement/cellar of a home in a coastal town? If it isn't dank, I don't know what is. Especially if you look at the walls in the original (they are made...

Sleep Spell in Lab?
When I first played the original game, I always thought I should be able to make Manannan fall asleep using the sleep spell when he was napping. It would make sense that the basement is a dark, damp place where the spell should work. Was this ever a consideration when making the game? I know thats n...

Re: Illegal Items and the logic behind it
I vaguely remember that SQ4 puzzle, but for some reason (I have not played it for a long time) I think you can look at the laptop to see what the plug should look like...or something. I don't think it was totally random, but perhaps it was.

Re: Illegal Items and the logic behind it
If you think about how the original games played out, if you were playing for the first time, the deaths actually helped the story move along and helped the player learn what to do. If you get killed for having spell ingredients, then perhaps you are going to have to do some magic. If you were playi...

Re: 1:1 Remakes
(Such as the Multi-coloured door in KQ2 being changed to a rock) This was one that I was disappointed with as well. I loved the door in the original and thought it was a mistake to change. I would agree with the majority and say that remakes should add to the original (but not so much that the game...

An easy compromise would be to have an option to turn on and off the retry feature. Those who love it can have it, others would restore.

I would guess that unlocking debug mode might prove to be helpful in knowing if the chest can actually be opened from gameplay.

It should have only been 6 combinations at this point. 3 X 2 X 1 = 6.calvinfoo wrote:

Re: Can something be done with the chest in the lab?
This actually makes it seem less likely. That would be the type of jedi mind trick that I would play if I were in their position. Perhaps...or perhaps the devs, knowing you would think that way, decided to put something there after all. However, knowing that we would know that they would know that ...

I see this as a distinct possibility. Put something right in front of the gamer's face and make it extremely difficult to figure out. Now, BT, where have I seen that before?Or it contains the coolest and most secret Easter egg in the game....

Re: You have chosen....*spoilers*
This puzzle is absolutely fine. It doesn't matter if you make a mistake, you will eventually get the answer. The key here is that it doesn't have to be the best answer to you, but to Seran. What he says goes. If I were to decide for myself, the book would come first. I was wrong. Thats ok. Like peop...

Re: About the map
Perhaps the map fills in places that you're personally familiar with, rather than places you've taken it to. The pirate may have been to various places in Llewdor before and knows what the area looks like, while Gwydion has never been to these places in person, only ever having looked at them from ...
