I meant there are plenty of other things you could do. And just b/c I liked parrot's columns, didn't mean we wouldn't like a different set (he was actually recently fiddling with the columns like a week ago).Spikey wrote:what do you mean exactly?
I'd say go to our forums, but they're down. So just send us an e-mail or PM if you actually want to maybe do some stuff for the team.
(end team recruiting, sorry mods!)

Adanzis doesn't know what he's talking about. He usually does that, considering he was born in a test tube in Hoboken, we'll forgive him.
Parrot made columns for the TEXT boxes, not the dialogue pics. We still haven't decided on a design for those.
Parrots design for the text boxes is kind of a black, gray and white marble. But if you like, Spikey, whip something up if you like!

Topic
The original topic was the newly updated screenshots on the QFG2VGA page. We've discussed how some of us dislike the use of the QFG3 borders and some of us think Ad Avis looks too happy. We've also discussed how utterly great the game looks. Anything else? Anyone?Rambaldi0503 wrote:Can someone get us back on topic though, cuz seriously, I forgot what it was. Plus I'm buzzed.
EDIT: Someone also said the rock pile in the desert screen doesn't seem to blend with the rest of the scenery and we discussed Spikey's border skills and potential employment/enslavement with IA. I think that about sums up the relatively on-topic stuff in the thread.

Topic return
To get back on the topic of the screenshots, I had an idea earlier today. I know a lot of people dislike the borders for the windows and that's understandable. AGDI doesn't want to completely rework them and create something from scratch and that's also understandable. However, there might be a compromise position.
If I remember correctly, The Isle of the Crown had a fairly Arabian style to it. How about the game use the borders from KQ6 instead of QfG3? Granted, they're not exactly Arabian, but they hardly look overtly Egyptian either.
Just a thought.

What was I thinking?? Everybody has a locus of control. The question is, is it external or internal.Well, somebody has a locus of control here that's for sure.

I hope you don't mind if I comment some older posts. I had some problems with the login during the last weeks.Anonymous Game Creator 2 wrote:Adios...
So I suppose the violence images that AGD2 posted a while ago (the ones where Graham decapitates and mutilates other inhabitants of Daventry) didn't harm them, but a 10x10 pixel breast would, right? Glorification of violence combined with a disturbed relation to the human body - sounds like a great concept for raising kids! Hats off!navynuke04 wrote:If you look back at LucasFan's posts, you'll see that many of his images have been removed. One specifically having to do with the 'breast icon'. My children sometimes sit in my lap while I read through these forums.
Absolutely. I have done many cruel things before but showing the progress of a screenshot has been my masterpiece.navynuke04 wrote:For some reason he is on an anti-AGDI fit. His images were meant to discredit the hard work of the AGD's.
Oh, you mean the KQ3-pictures you guys removed from the fan gallery, right? Well, I suppose they are at a better place now, like my avatar, tierra banner or world map entry...navynuke04 wrote:LucasFan has always been allowed to post images of his own making. His KQ3 related stuff was never edited to my knowledge.
Heh, wow... multiple forums, eh? Are you sure you can name at least... two?Erpy wrote:If you assume that LF has never been able to adress his concerns; he has done so on multiple forums including our own.

It gets better and better. Don't stop now, NavyNuke. Don't be afraid, I won't ask you to prove your allegations.navynuke04 wrote:Other images were uploaded that were meant to slander AGDI.
Ok, ok. I think I understood what you tried to tell me. But I should point out that I really enjoyed "the good old days" when we made all these little KQ3-demos, screenshots and all that things. Good luck in all your future endeavours.navynuke04 wrote:I personally think he is jealous of the success AGDI has experienced.
Wow, what a great summary! Thank you!Anonymous Game Creator 2 wrote:Those 'jabs' are all he ever posts about and frankly, we're all getting tired of it.
