I need help with this.  I guess I can't think like a woman after all, sorry girls. :o

I found a bug. She can practice her breast while she is still swiming and I think that's a error.

Sorry.  This has now been fixed.

Let's see.  What's the first thing that the crew says when they pull her on board?  Why are they enslaving her?  How can you change that.

For more hints, see my last response to Steffi.  It's about two posts before this one.

BTW, that's not a bikini, those are the royal undergarments.
Fribbi wrote:I guess I can't think like a woman after all, sorry girls.
Hey, you don't have to be sorry.  Women love guys who think guy thoughts.  Isn't that true, ladies?
Fribbi wrote:I found a bug. She can practice her breast while she is still swiming and I think that's a error.
That's not a bug; that was by design.  Breastfeeding is so easy, it can be done anywhere!  (At least, that's what I'm trying to promote.  But I'm a guy, so what do I know?)

I was not talkin about her breastfeeding. I was talking about when she trains her breast muscle or whatever this is hehe.

I have still no clue what I am suppose to type before they rescue me.

What do you mean by "trains her breast muscle"?  Breasts don't have muscles.  Do you mean her pectoral muscles?

Yes, she can pump her breasts while swimming.  The pump-a-matic breast pump is so easy to use, it can be used anywhere!

And, if you look closely, you can see that she's not doing the breast stroke, she's doing the freestyle.

Take a look at the hints I wrote for Steffi, about four posts ago.  You have to be prepared before you swim out to the ship.

I was not talking about her pump.

Type "look breast" while you are swimming and you will see what I mean.

Am I suppose to hid the man' clothes under her dress?

You know English are not my first language so I am not very good on this parser games. So please just give me the word I supposed to type.

Exactly!  You got it right.

Here's what to type:
While you are on the beach, if you are wearing womans clothes, type "wear mens clothes under womans clothes."  If you are wearing mens clothes, type "wear womans clothes over mens clothes."  When you are at the ship, after you type "help," type "remove womans clothing."
Stuck on the ship

#109 Post by Fribbi » Fri Mar 11, 2005 6:56 pm

I am stuck again. I found a empty chest but know nothing else what I am suppose to do with that.

I found another error. If you type look man when you obviously can see there is a man in the room area you will get the reply "There is no man here".

Walk around the ship.  You'll notice a new object that wasn't there in KQ3.  Figure out what to do with it.

Well I am stuck again. I found Alexander with two strange guys. I get points if I give them all the bottles of milk. But every time I try to save my baby I am just killed and sent where ferryman are.

Everytime I try to change clothes one bandit come and take me to his hideout place.

So I need a hints how can I save the baby.

Error report.

When I am still in man's clothing and trying to dig me out in the cave with the pick. You will see Valanice is in dress then but not in man's clothing. And if you are still in man's clothing and want to swim out of the well you are again back in the dress.

So at least I know I must change clothes so the baby can remember Valanice. But how and where?

You need to find a private place to change clothes.

Hint #1:
Remember, although the Llewdor may look the same as the one in KQ3, there are differences.
Hint #2:
Look at all the buildings.
Fribbi wrote:So I need a hints how can I save the baby.
Well, you can't, if by save you mean take the baby home with you.  This game does not change the general outcome of the series, in which Alexander remains kidnapped until his eighteenth birthday.  You must breastfeed Alexander in order to save his life, though.  To get the maximum score, you must at least attempt to rescue Alexander from his abductors, but, of course, you will fail.
Fribbi wrote:When I am still in man's clothing and trying to dig me out in the cave with the pick. You will see Valanice is in dress then but not in man's clothing. And if you are still in man's clothing and want to swim out of the well you are again back in the dress.
I'll have to fix this.  Note the following:
When you die, you loose all non-magical inventory items.  So, after dying, Valanice should never appear in man's clothing.

EDIT:  I have uploaded a new version that fixes this.  Now, whenever you die, if you possess both magical items that you need to escape from the Land of the Dead, the graphics for the Land of the Dead will appear, and you will have lost all your non-magical items.  That means that, if you were wearing men's clothing, you will revert to woman's clothing.  If you die without the two magical items, the graphics for the Land of the Dead will not appear, since there is no way for anyone living to know of the existance of the Land of the Dead if you do not return.

There are two Easter Eggs that appear to violate one or more of the above rules.  In one of them, you may enter the Land of the Dead in man's clothing.  In that case, the graphics may be inconsistant and change from man's clothing to woman's clothing and back again.  This was intended, as it was an Easter Egg only and not intended to be playble.  The other Easter Egg is playable and leads to two amusing alternate endings.
EDIT:  I have uploaded a new version which fixes the above problem, and also adds responses for "look captain," "look cook," "look sailor," and "look man" while aboard ship.  "Look pirate" may be used as a synonym for any of these.

I can't find the place where I am suppose to change clothes so I need better hint or just the answer where I can change clothes.

I found another bug. If you go right from that pier. (check the picture wich I marked with the circle) You wil have to see that on you own what is wrong there because I can't explain what it is.

Wen you say "change clothes" near the cave the bandit will come but then a strange message with a error will appear then.

Valanice can walk like Jesus Christ on the water. :lol

Hint #1:
You want to be hidden so that bandit can't see you.
Hint #2:
You want to do it indoors.
Hint #3:
Try each of the buildings in town.
Hint #4:
There are five buildings in town.  Stand in front of each one and type "look" or "look building."  Read the message.  Based on what the message says, you have to type something else.  Read that message.  Based on what that message says, you have to type something else.  That will get you to the place you need to be to change clothes.
I can't duplicate this.  Could you please tell me what the message is.

This is one of those minor bugs that I may or may not fix.  Note that
she can also rise from the dead,
but you already know that.

I have finsh the game but with 82 points of 88. I just don't know where the missing 6 points are.

I tryed to play with the baby, feed the baby with both breasts and sing a  song for the baby. So what part am I missing here.

About that error message It doesn't always appear to me but there is a another error there. When you walk up or down from that area you sometimes appear in wrong direction. Like if you go down from that buildings you will appear near the opening of the cave. It makes you think you have already being inside the cave.

But I have finished the game.    Great game anyway. It really makes you feel you are playing another real King quest game with a nostalgia effect.
Do you remember the scene where King Graham was feeding Rosella?  What was he feeding her?
So what did you think of the puzzles?  Too hard?  Too easy?  Just about right?

I'll be busy for the next week or so, but then I'll fix the remaining bugs and bump the version number to version 2.

Have you found any of the Easter eggs in the game?

I gave all the bottles. But I still got only 82 of 88.

No I did not found any easter eggs you have mentioned.

The game is hard enough for beginner but once you have played the game the game will then take you about 10-15 minutes to finish the game.

Fribbi wrote:I gave all the bottles. But I still got only 82 of 88.
Here's what to do:
Before you leave Daventry, fill two bottles of milk and leave them in the cabinet, or give them to King Graham.  You will get two points, one for each bottle, when Graham feeds Rosella breast milk instead of formula.  But you must leave at least eight bottles for Alexander, or he will die.

As for the remaining points, did you have any milk stains?

Also, what exactly did you do to leave the cave?  Non-violent solutions give you more points than violent ones.
How many endings to the game have you found.  When you return to Daventry after finding Alexander, there are three possible endings, not counting Easter eggs:  Alexander lives, Alexander dies, and a third possible ending.  Have you found the third possible ending?

Have you found any of the following Easter eggs?
  • Have you figured out how to get the mushroom?
If you're a guy, you've probably been wanting to see Valanice's breasts.  Have you figured out how to get a topless view of her from the front?
Have you tried walking around in your underwear?  How far can you get in you underwear?  Have you figured out how to return to Daventry in your underwear?  What happens if you return to the castle in your underwear?
Have you tried relieving yourself?  There are only three rooms in the game where you can do this.  If you type exactly the right words, an amusing graphic will come up.  The graphic depends on which of the three rooms you relieve yourself in.  You have to think like a pervert in order for the graphic to come up, but the graphic is nor R-rated.
The word "chest" can mean either "breast" or "box."  Have you typed the word in, intending it to mean one thing, but the interpreter interpreted it as the other?  This happens with 1/16 probability.
Have you tried dying more than once?
Have you tried dying and then returning to the spot where your corpse should be located?  Have you tried doing this repeatedly?
    Have you  tried teleporting?
Have you tried traveling on the ship to any place other than Llewdor?  This only works if you board the ship a second time.
Have you tried
  • Using the boss function?
Changing your tampon?  (Use any synonyms for tampon that you may know.)
Using birth control?  (Use any synonyms for birth control that you may know.)
    Using profanity?
Getting rid of the milk stains on your clothes?
Preventing milk stains before they happen?
Talking to the crewmembers of the ship?
    Burping Alexander after feeding him?
Breastfeeding one of the kidnappers, or the ferryman?
Has anyone else finished this game?  When one of the women has finished this game, I'd like to know what you think of this game from a woman's point of view.  Since I'm a guy, I wrote the game from a male perspective.  How would you change the game to make it from a woman's perspective?  In particular, how, if any, would you change the game to make it so that teenage girls would like to play it and would want to breastfeed when they grow up?

One of the purposes of the game is to encourage breastfeeding.  Has playing the game made you more likely to breastfeed (if you're a woman) or to encourage your wife to breastfeed (if your a man)?

If anyone would like to make an improved version of the game to improve the graphics, add and/or change the puzzles, make it more girl-friendly, let me know your ideas by private e-mail and, if I like your ideas, I'll send you the source code.  Thanks.

Well, what purpose does the wheel serve?  What do you normally do with a wheel?  When you do that, you will get a message, which is a hint as to what to do next.

I'll be here for a couple of hours, so if you're still lost, post another message and I'll give you further hints.

Have you tried breastfeeding your son?  After all, that is what the game is all about.  Pumps and bottles are only secondary to actual breastfeeding.  When you enter the cave, you should notice that the menu options for breastfeeding (as opposed to pumping) are now enabled.  Try those options.  You can also use the keys '<' and '>'.  If you get a message telling you that you cannot breastfeed at this time, the message will give you a hint as to what to do next.

He'll be hungry again in a little while.  In the mean time, what else can you do with your son Alexander?  What else do you do with a baby, besides feed him?
