First of all, your steed is faster, so don't try to get through the tunnel without it. After getting through the tunnel, listen to what the trident has to say.

I've got the same problem! Alright, I'm supposed to use the trident for self-defence, but how am I to cope with two enemies? I've had enough of becoming shark bait again and again... :cry

If only there were some kind of magical blockade that could separate you from the Sharkees....

Got it! I finally managed to find your very useful walkthrough... I must have been blind before!  8)) It's a good thing to have both the hints and the plain solution, this way you're slightly pushed into the right direction but still have the possibility to solve the rest of the puzzles on your own, very nice!
I didn't notice the trident having magical powers, but now I'm done, thank you!
BTW, I think it's a great idea to leave it up to the player wether one wants to play that mini-arcade part of the game in the sharkees lair or not! I'm not so keen on arcade stuff in general, but it's a nice option for those who like it! IMO this feature should be adapted by other game designers, it would keep many arcadeophobics (nice neologism, isn't it  ;) ) like me (at least I think I can't be the only one) from getting frustrated by trying to get over an arcade sequence over and over again.

The arcade option is certainly nice - but be careful: if you leave it out, you won't get a perfect score.

I am still stuck trying to get away.  When I escaped through the tunnel with the trident I don't remember the trident talking.  It happened so fast.  All I remember is getting out with the trident and as soon as my steed stopped I saved the game.  Now I'm stuck trying to get past the 2 sharkee guards.  I tried to use the trident to make a blockade but a message keeps telling me I'm too late.  Please help.  I want to move on to the rest of the game.

When you are able to use the trident you must use it on the wall from where you exited the cave.  It may either come down to slowing your game down as much as possible or if it is beyond the point of using the trident, you might either have to start a new game altogether (which if you know what you are doing it won't take very much time to get back to that point) or get a saved game from someone else.

Hey thanks for the advice.  I change the game settings to slow it down but it wouldn't let me play.  I guess I'll have to start over.  Thanks again
