Flight Simulators
Just wanted to know if anyone has played a good flight simulator recently. I'm looking for suggestions on PC game flight simulators, I'd like to get a fairly new one. The last one I bought is ancient now.

I thought X-Wing was a pretty old game, from the early 90's? Or maybe I'm confusing it with Wing Commander.
The flight simulators I have are all from the early to mid 90's and so are not really "up-to-speed" with the hardware of today. I think the maximum recommended processor on them is a 486 25MHz PC.
I'm looking for something that's just come out in the past couple of years. I'll check out those X-Wing games.

There were later remakes of X-Wing and TIE Fighter for Win95, with updated graphics. I have those versions; TIE Fighter is probably one of the best space combat sims I've played.
X-Wing Alliance was made in the early 2000s IIRC. It's pretty good too. Make sure to get the X-Wing Alliance Upgrade packs with new, more detailed models (assuming your bandwidth and hardware is up to it)
