CyricZ's version 1.0 upload is now complete. Anyone who just absolutely can't figure things out yet may journey to
GameFAQs' QfG2VGA FAQ page for assistance. Another fine job, (Red) CyricZ. I'm sure many stumped folks look forward to the completion of your various COMING SOON! sections.
One point of note for your future versions: There's an issue with import characters (this applies to the original QfG2 as well). Characters imported from QfG1EGA will get the value of all gold and silver (rounded down for units of ten) + 140 gold as you say. However, characters exported from QfG1VGA are different; they only get the value of their silver (still rounded down units of ten) and an additional 220 gold coins in QfG2. For some reason, the amount of gold in QfG1VGA does NOT export and the ending scene extra cash is screwed up.

Another very useful hint is one of the "secret" dialog options that you don't list.
If you ask Shema about "money changer" *before* you meet Dinarzad, she'll teach you the names of all the streets in English, very useful especially for the Brigand in the City quest.

Day 8 for Fighter say you use the Magic Rope while dealing with the Air Elemental, but a Pure Fighter doesn't have climb and therefore can not buy the Magic Rope.

Yeah, I learned about that rather recently, but I'm probably going to end up sticking it in the Easter Egg section later because it's not something you'd probably come upon normally, nor is it necessary for the regular game progress itself.

Oops. Secret's out. I made each walkthrough one at a time then copy/pasted and made adjustments for the new class. So, yeah, the "Fighter way" of beating the Air Elemental is simply to walk into the funnel and while it has you, click the Pot of Dirt on it, which (if your Strength is high enough) actually works for everyone. >.>

Cyric, I notice you discovered the hidden QFG4-5 spell-reference Erpy mentioned. Neat; I hadn't found that earlier. Go you!
EDIT: PS - you missed asking Rakeesh about Mordavia and Silmaria.

You don't even have to walk into the funnel. I just threw the dirt at the top from outside and it stopped him.

Which has a chance of failing depending on your Throwing skill. This way works 100% of the time, as long as you're not completely exhausted and drained of HP.

You can ask the same thing to Shameen and he'll teach you the street names as well.

He did get the ones for Dinarzad, though.

This isn't really about the walkthrough but about the QfG2VGA entry on GameFAQs in general. I also posted on the message boards there...
Okay, why does the Data tab here list the Developer as "AGD Software"? It's "
AGD Interactive". Also, the AGD Software page doesn't link to a webpage for me, as it should be
http://www.agdinteractive.com/ on the (nonexistent?)
AGD Interactive developer profile. Finally, this incorrect AGD Software does list the ADGI's earlier King's Quest remakes but also lists some games they probably had no part in.
So, I'm not sure how to fix this, but can we get this straightened out?

Hmm? Issur would give me the bellows after I had beat him in arm wrestling as a wizard.

Is there anything wrong with that?

From a game-logic point of view, probably not... Though that would have to be a pretty strong wizard to beat a blacksmith

I was referring to the walkthrough, which says this in the description for bellows:
This is the container for the Air Elemental. Issur will only
give it to you if you beat him at arm-wrestling, which you can't do if
you're a Magic User or a Thief. In which case, you'll have to wait until
night and swipe them.

His walkthrough covers the "official" routes to approach problems according to class. You can't do that in this situation means "it's not your style".

That said, I already changed it for v.1.1 to reflect that it COULD be done, but it's meant to be the "Fighter path".
And I can't believe I've gone this long without knowing the "true" Magic User path for it. >.>

Nope! Has to do with a little creative casting inside the shop itself and a respectable Communication skill.

Hmm, I'll have to catch v. 1.1 then, as the only I knew were either fetch or levitate + grab.

Yeah, levitate & grab was also the official method documented in the original Sierra hint book. Hadn't occurred to me there was a more better way.

My first thought is that Issur seems like the kind of guy who could use some calming down.

I noticed a error here:
Your character is a regular human, and as such, you'll need to eat, sleep, and
eep from getting hurt too much.
I didn't know eeping was a necessary survival aspect.
and here:
Q: Who's that black painting in WIT?
A: That was Ad Avis' Dark Master, who was expelled for his crimes.

I think the Dark Master thing was deliberate to avoid spoilers. In QFG2VGA, we also took care not to mention a gender.
