...a person who's hardly the epitome of a chattiness in real life would ever break the 10k barrier anywhere, but lo and behold...it happened.
I still have to make up my mind on what I liked better; the nice look of four 9's in a row, or the extra digit.

In certain forums, you ban yourself once achieved the magic number, and start a new account.
Unless a thread is deleted and that reduces your post-count; in that case you post again until the magic number is recovered again.
Edit: Wohoo, 321 posts! way to go up to the 3210th!

I have to admit Erpy, part of me (and extremely nerdy part) is very impressed. I think you should screen shot it and carry around a copy in your wallet. Then if anyone accuses you of being shy just pull out your post count and yell: "Tell that to the internet!" and walk away all smug.
I'd do it myself, but I've never once been called 'quiet' or 'shy'.

<snort> I like that idea. Very amusing.
Congrats on the ten to the fourth, Erpy.

*Briefly considers seeing if he remembers how to edit post counts... decides against it.

Congrats on your milestone, Stijn!

Smart decision, Sean. I probably would have achieved this landmark a year ago already if it hadn't been for your previous pruning actions.

If the Knight were still active as he was in the old days, I'm sure he'll be sitting on 20,000 posts right now.

I'm not sure if I should congratulate you, feel slight pity for you, or a bit of both.

I was thinking it but I wasn't going to say it. one time when I applied to a WoW guild they asked if I had any stigmas about using Forums and I sent them a link to my profile here and said "not really" I've seen some people over at say "the escapist" that have post counts as high as yours though. And here I was thinking my combined almost-3k posts was impressive. It is to the point though that most people who know me well have seen me write a post here or at the "darkside" of the remake community. Like the nuke said, congratulations on your milestone. I'm just not sure if I'd want the same one.
