An excellent part, now that I figured out how to change her back, and no magic is needed, unless one counts kindness and clicking on the correct text options to count as magic.
This segment had a lot of potential which could have been fulfilled, though. Obviously, there's no real room or time for a love interest in this game (Cassima is still to come for Alexander!), but what might have made it interesting is if she knew Mannanan, or that he was the one who caused her to be so cold-hearted and bitter as she was. That would have added depth to both characters, and could have been the launching point for so much else.
Even so, by fleshing out the character, AGDI went above and beyond expectations. Way beyond.

She doesn't know about Manannan, but he knows about her. (though probably only in her current form) One of his conversations mentions her.
I don't think the idea was to make her role in any way central to the plot. She's still a side character who was made slightly more interesting, but not every loose end in a game has to be tied up. The fun is sometimes to just leave some things to the imaginations of the fans.

Something tells me we don't want to know about Manannan's imagination about her.

How do I deal with Medusa? It won't let me play the lute for her. All it says is that he fine tunes the lute, and all she says is she is my doom. Please help me. No hints though as they are no good to me. A spolier would be great.

Good idea, Eld. When I get closer, guess what? I get turned to stone. Nope. Does me no good to get close to her.

Unless I want to die. Which, in its own way sounds fun. But I would like to finish this game with full points. Maybe dieing is fun for some other people, but, it really doesn't do the trick for me.

You didn't get turned to stone by getting too close, you got turned to stone by taking too long. You're on a timer.

I know. its like a 2 second timer. But still, what do I do? It doesn't let me play the lute, I even tried to give her the letter, what else is there?

And here I thought you were going to delete the game in a fit of anger. What happened?
At least in the other 2 versions of the game, the fly/eagle spell was used like it should have been. So much for me being able to finish this game. Just like your QFG2 game, uninstall, delete!

I wanted to give it another chance and I am very happy that I did. I figured out how to deal with her nicely. The hints I was given really helped.

Heh. I just walked into that den, and mirrored that beeotch and she turned to stone. Later, I realized I might have been overzealous and I probably should have said a word or two to her before I just up and stoned her.
