AGDI didn't remove it, the creator of AGS did. There's now a better way to do it. Under the Graphics Filter drop down menu in the setup program you can choose 2x, 3x, 4x, etc. This doubles, triples, etc the screen resolution. Give it a try. Same thing done better. In the same window it shows the resolution outcome depending on which filter you choose.
Re: QFG2 News & Updates: Version 2.0 Released on PC and Mac!
That doesn't work though because a x4 filter on a 320x200 resolution still doesn't fill out a 1920x1200 size monitor, but when you could set the base resolution to 640x400, it worked perfectly. You'd need a x6 filter on a 320x200 resolution to get the same result and there doesn't seem to be one.
I see now that this is a AGS problem now though, I hope that guy fixes it soon, I can't imagine why'd he remove the number of resolutions you can have.

Did you guys tweak the spell functions for the v2.0 release? I seem to remember being unable to remove spells from the original even with debug mode (or am I just remembering incorrectly?).
In any case, I very much appreciate the ability to remove Zap from my honest Paladin-in-training hybrid. Of course, I'll have to do it again for QfG3 and QfG5, but hey, the path of honor isn't easy.

I think the ability to remove spells by setting their skill to 0 has always been in there.

I'm lovin' the 2.0 version, all of the little pet peeve bugs that I found on my first playthrough are gone, so in my eyes this game is now perfect

It takes like 2 minutes max and the step by step video shows you exactly what to do. It's the wineskin app that comes inside the QFG2 app that needs to be updated. So follow this and you'll be good to go!
