"Searching for the chest" is a broad idea btw. It basically involves everything of the "chest-quest". (getting the beans/key, getting up there, laying the giant flat, getting back)

<img src="http://httpd.chello.nl/c.vanempel/Nashs ...

Chest Quest

Is it one of those percent chances of happening because when I click any of my items anywhere nothing happens.

No, it happens 100% of the time, just like the egg when talking to the guards while invisible.

<img src="http://httpd.chello.nl/c.vanempel/Nashm ...

The Dwarf

I don't think the dwarf ever showed up while you where invisible in previous versions.

Yeah, he's always been able to show up when you're invisible, but just wouldn't be able to see you so he'd walk right past.

~Wolfgang

On a scale of 1 to 10, how hard is this to find?

I've been looking since two days ago and haven't had any luck with the chest quest.

Hard to tell. A bit harder than the easter egg with the guards and the ring. It involves a certain place, a certain object and ah...something else.

<img src="http://httpd.chello.nl/c.vanempel/Nashh ...

A question: Is this object neccessary to complete the Chest Quest?
______________
Rules must be obeyed. Do not smuggle water.
______________
SPACE QUEST III VGA
http://sq3vga.by.ru

No, the object isn't necessary to complete the quest for the chest, but it is part of the better solution to a problem.

<img src="http://httpd.chello.nl/c.vanempel/Nashn ...

The only items that links with the better solution is...
the ring, the beans... that's all.
*quickly starts KQIVGA*
______________
Rules must be obeyed. I think if nobody finds the egg before Easter, the Easter Bunny should give us an "easter egg", namely the one we can't find...
school: n. (skool) - an extensive test of your mental capability to listen to a boring lecture for over six hours

high school: n. (haiy-skool) - an advanced version of school, also tests your physical capability to carry heavy weights from one end of the bottom floor to the other end of the top floor of a long building

I decided to re-read Erpy's poinlist and according to it Cheese, a Note, a Carrot, and a Slingshot are in the Chestquest part. Hmmmmmm....
______________
Rules must be obeyed. Do not smuggle water.
______________
SPACE QUEST III VGA
http://sq3vga.by.ru

There's actually a discreptancy between the point list and the hints, which I caused when I reformatted the guide. In the point-list, the gingerbread house is included in the chest quest. In the hints, the g-bread house is included in the shield quest.

The reason is... the g-bread house contains two things, cheese and note. Note helps you with chest quest, cheese helps you with shield quest. I moved the g-bread house into the chest quest for the point list... but either I forgot or was too lazy to do the same for the hints list. So I should probably do that.

I have no idea why I bothered to type this all... I guess just in case anyone looked at the the hint list instead of the point list and said that the cheese wasn't there.

Does the goat have something to do with this?
