There isn't a basket in the mailbox in the remake, so stop worrying about it. As for the trident, it's a major subquest once you have to complete once you go under the ocean - if you've got a specific question about getting it, it may be helpful to provide more information on where exactly you're up to.<br> <p></p><i></i>

I don't think it was intended as a rude comment. What he meant was that in the remake, the basket isn't in the mailbox. That was one of the many things changed from the original version. The letter in the mailbox is all that's supposed to be there.<br><br>Regarding the Trident, has someone asked you for it yet? The first thing you need to do when you start a game is head for the Door of Destiny, and that's where your quest will truly begin. Then, begin to try to locate the first gem he asks for - the Birth Gem. The Trident is part of that puzzle, but you won't find it simply lying on the beach like in the original (yet another change).<br><br>~Wolfgang <p></p><i></i>
