oh ok, I was going to say I'd have to buy a PS3 just for that.
EDIT: I was playing through Gabriel Knight 1 and it's actually really really well done... untill Gabriel or the narrater opens their stupid mouths. The voices aren't badly acted out it's just that Gabriel sounds like a red neck texan with down syndrome and the narrater although fitting for the setting can be a annoyance after a little bit "De Clock sayz five turrrrrdy" Other than that though it's good even if some of the puzzles are next to impossible without a walkthrough. Like honestly how was I supposed to know how to work the clock in Gran's house?

Check everything
The hints are there in the game. You just have to look for recurring imagery throughout all of the experiences of the Knight family. There's a book in Gabriel's shop that has the critical clue.Quest For Glory Fan wrote:...it's good even if some of the puzzles are next to impossible without a walkthrough. I noticed the history of Gabriels father and Grand father are like exactly the same though. Very difficult I think but very fun if you can get by the voices. I seem to have run into a problem though. My game crashed and won't run anymore. It says it's not installed and I'm afraid that reinstalling will make me lose my save.

when do you ever need that? maybe the magus fight but then you'd have no ice OR healing and by that time you can get rid of Lucca anyways. I never really did like her but she's apparently like the strongest charachter in the game. After getting Tabans gun and armor I can see it but if I haven't used her up to then than she has no techs. but back on topic Marle has way cooler dual and tri techs than Robo.

Since you're talking about your first arrival at the End of Time, obviously your characters are at low levels (presuming you're not playing a New Game+, Spikey). So before I give you my opinion, I need to know one thing: what is the highest Single Tech currently known by Marle and Robo?

Got Gabriel Knight 2 in the mail today and I'm going to say I definetly like Sins of the father more so far but I don't know. The interactive movie thing is neat but the video quality is atrocius and Gabriel looks like he was pasted into the gameplay and stands like a retard leaning 20 degrees over. but alas we shall see the plot soon enough and I remain confident that it will override what I've seen.

Nintendo have just released the final name of the Revolution - Wii.
I quite like the name, although I do know quite a few don't.
Nintendo have a site on it - http://revolution.nintendo.com/ - but since their site is pretty heavily loaded right now, I've put up a mirror on the Nintendo site I'm running with a friend.

Introducing... Wii.MusicallyInspired wrote:What exactly does Wii mean?? Revolution was way better. Should have named it that. Oh well.
As in "we."
While the code-name Revolution expressed our direction, Wii represents the answer. Wii will break down that wall that seperates videogame players from everybody else. Wii will put people more in touch with their games... and each other. But you're probably asking: What does the name mean?
Wii sounds like "we," which emphasizes the console is for everyone. Wii can easily be remembered by people around the world, no matter what language they speak. No confusion. No need to abbreviate. Just Wii.
Wii has a distinctive "ii" spelling that symbolizes both the unique controllers and the image of people playing it. And Wii, as a name and a console, brings something revolutionary to the world of videogames that sets it apart from the crowd.
So that's Wii. But now Nintendo needs you. Because it's really not about you or me. It's about Wii. And together, Wii will change everything.

George Harrison, Senior Vice President of Sales and Corporate Communications at Nintendo of America has revealed in an interview with Game Informer that the Revolution will have a worldwide launch similar to that of the 360 in Novemeber!
I really didnt think Rev would make it to the UK this year!!
Whoohoo 2 new console to play on this November!
ALSO
New revolution secret has been revealed!!
The nunchuck add on is also capable of the pointing device ability that the remote has!
Just think of controlling Link's sword in one hand and shield in the other!!

Well the conferences are over! Much has been revelead and some not.
Best to check out IGN or similar game site for all news.
Sony conference showed quite a few games for PS3 including an E3 version of GT entitled Gran Turismo HD, MGS4, Tekken 6, Ridge Racer 7, Genji 2, Heavenly Sword to name a few.
Quite a lot of which were playable.
Sony announced the PS3 is available 11/11 in Japan and 17/11 in Europe, Australaisa and the US.
The 20GB version will be $499/£430 and a 60GB version for $599/£400
So very expensive but I'm sure alot of people will still buy it.
Also announced was that the boomerang controller is out and a standard dualshock is in (Yay!!) minus the rumble feature but plus motion sensor abilities.
Nintendo's conferernce was disapointing in comparison, whislt Super Mario Galaxy, Red Steel and Twilight Princess were shown, no price or release date was mentioned.
The Wii-mote was announced to have a speaker built into it and seperate versions of Zelda for GC and Rev were announced to launch with the Rev.
A few new games were announced such as Excite Truck which looked pretty cool.
Havnt watched the MS conference but I hear Halo 3 trailer was shown and GTA IV was announced for PS3 and 360.
