It seems like a bit of a leap to assume they've abandoned their game just because the webpage is down for a week or two. Probably they're just having server or ISP trouble. At worst, their webmaster has left the project.
I'm willing to bet on it.

Websites come and go, but remakes last at least 3 weeks usually. Except when AGDI do them, then it's like, 3 years.
I wouldn't worry about their site being down, IA's site is down and we're still around. Our server just crapped itself, so maybe theirs has done the same.

I reckon we should use freewebs if the other site is down. It's easy, fast and best of all...it's FREE!

I swear I thought that link up there said amberfish
farts.com. lol!
On topic, though, I'd like to see a SQ remake too. By the way, Alliance, why resurrect a two month old thread for that? Good intentions, though.
For a total of $18 for a year's domain purchace and three months hosting, I got my site at Godaddy.com Some people rag on them, but I have not had any problems since I recieved the updated PHPbb install file.

I notice tons of SQ 2 remakes, I guess SQ2 is the hardest to remake, alot to do.

Any remake isn't easy. Remaking a game requires a lot to do; even if it is all laid out before you..... making a game in general isn't 'easy'. It's time consuming, for sure!

Do you know what would be cool? a SCI Studio remake of SQ 2.

That would be cool.

I started one actually

. I posted a screenshot a while back of what I had....a very VERY bad new EGA background that I had made myself and different sprites I was thinking of using. One was the SQ3 Roger, 2 others were variations of the SCI Studio default EGO one with the SQ2 clothes and the other with the SQ3 clothes each with brown and blonde hair, the SQ4 EGA version Roger sprite (which works in SCI0 games..interesting), the SQ1 remake EGA version (if that makes sense lol) of Roger (which also works in SCI0) and a variation of Sonny Bond's sprite from PQ2. Didn't get anywhere after that.
EDIT: I found it and made a pic of some of the sprites I was going to use.

What exactly is he doing on the outside of the station without an EV suit?
Testing the effects total vacuum has on the human body?

His just letting us take a look at the sprites. The real Question is, why is there 4 of him?

The real question is: Why does one Roger have brown hair?

Because roger looks better as a blond. Hence the stupidity! (sp?)

Ok:

Sure just get me your email.
The real Question is, why is there 4 of him?
They were the different Roger sprites I made and I didn't know which was the best one to use so I made the sprite in the game one sprite and captured it and then switched the sprites again and fired up the game again and captured again and then when I had them all I copied & pasted them all into one screen.
The real question is: Why does one Roger have brown hair?
In the original SQ1-3 Roger had brown hair. I didn't know if I wanted him to be more like the current Roger or keep him like the old Roger and have brown hair and purple boots.
There you have it lol.
