Hello everybody,

I was sadened today to receive some rather shocking information about the past few weeks. It appears PCJ has missused his short period of admin access at the JT to destroy our community. He was made an administrator a few weeks ago to install mods that would improve our message board. He felt the need to missuse this access which ultimitely lead to my posting this you see here.

You see, it didn't quite stop there. Over the course of a few weeks, PCJ has missused many of your accounts. Including, but not limiting to: MikeBorg's, 4th Guy, Spikey's, Alias and of course mine. This includes missusing personal information and posting under false pretense.

I'm ashamed to admit to you now that I suspected these things happening all along, yet I didn't act accordingly. PCJ has missused my trust and used my admin account to stirr up the place.

Now, if you think this is because he hates us or whatever I wouldn't know. Best is to ask it himself. To me, it's his idea of fun. Sadly, he's not the only one behind all of this. Let me introduce you, the glamorous and honest people behind all this:

Uploaded by Justas on his personal website is part of the database backup which was temporary available in the public folder of SQN as I was doing maintenance in favour of the community. Yes indeed. These are PM messages. PERSONAL messenges. So if you, as regular member, felt you aren't involved in all of this... You are.

I encourage everybody to spreads these words around. Inform everybody about this.

What does this mean for the JT and indeed SQN? Well, I must say that it has robbed me of my last piece of motivation. I'm done, guys. I don't need this. I'm trying to get my bachalors in Multimedia Technology while at the same time keeping up my duties for the community. My selfless duties, I might add. I know some of you don't agree with how I run things. I know some of you think I'm explossive, emotional and what not. Then again, I'm one of you guys, aren't I? I don't need these juvenile actions. And so do you.

Why should we allow these individuals to ruin what we have built over the years? My answer to that is: 250 dollars server payments each fucking year. That's why. These people not only missused our trust but also my hard-earned money. After all, they've missused the services  made available to them because I pay SQN from my own pocket.

I'm sad to announce that I will be closing the JT AND SQN within the next few weeks. I'll call my server admin and ask SpaceQuest.Net to be removed.

I would like to ask you, if you have ANY respect for me and my work, not to make back ups of SQN to have it uploaded somewhere else. Please note that besides trying to get even with PCJ and his clownies on this highly personal matter I'm also trying to make a statement:

DON'T LET THEM GET AWAY WITH THIS!

As you know, PCJ and Justas (for example) are both members of their fanproject called Vohaul Strikes Back. There's no need to tell you all what this does to the credibility of their project. Yes, why are they here? Here around in our community if they seek to disrupt things?

I thought we were all united by this little game called Space Quest. Apparently, I was wrong. These people have abused SQN, the JT, me... AND YOU! YES, you as fan, visitor and contributor.

Please note Zargaist, pcj, justas and tiki... And who else involved. I don't even think I want to know... Please note that what you did is not only amoral and unethical... It's also illegal. Note that if my financial position was different I would have sought legal actions against your person. Yeah, laugh if you will. But I've never been more serious.

So thank you, Zargaist, pcj, justas, olson and tiki for finally killing the flame and spirit of Space Quest. For killing the flame that bounded us together for all these years. I myself feel some of these people were indeed responsible for the downfall of the Subspace Channel. Justas and Olson are after all famous for their useless and senseless offtopic topics and disrupting posts. Not so much here, but at the SubSpace Channel message board a good few years ago. For those of you who were around back then: It all makes sense now, doesn't it?  They got back for an encore here at the JT. Great!

Thank you for being responsible for the closing down of  perhaps the most impressive website ever made about Space Quest and perhaps ANY adventure game around. Thank you for being responsible for axing down the last bit of community spirit around. Thank you for being responsible for the closing down of a Space Quest website that still receives 12,500 UNIQUE IP VISITS every month.

You know what, all? Thay haven't even made their apologies. Not to me, not to you... Not to us. Frankly, I don't think they have the balls for it  anyway.

I hope you, as Space Quest fan and supporter of SQN, will join me in standing up to these people.  My god, they're doing a fangame for crying out loud! Can't you all see how rediculous this is? They're sacrificing their own time and money to make a Space Quest fangame. And yet what they've creating and helped built is being destroyed much more so. Amoral people, living double lives. Cheating on all of us.
