monk in church

I know I am suppose to give the monk something but nothing in my inventory works in or around the church. I also haven't found the little girl. I spoke to grandma but just wander around. I do have the needle but I put it in the reed. Was that wrong. Please direct me to what is next. Thanks in advance.

You should try praying in the church and the monk will help you

There are no dead ends in KQ2+. So don't worry about getting stuck.

Whoa, just realized this thread is really old. My bad. Also just noticed a 7 year old thread revived. That shouldn't be.

Heh. I remember when this question was asked. This poster used the
smiley a lot. I think this question didn't matter as much as she was given the link to the walkthrough in another thread.
