Fire Elemental Error

I've tried to go through the posts but didn't see this one already.
I got this the first couple of times that I tried to get the fire elemental into the alley. I went back into the inn and slept for an hour and when I came out, the elemental was on the other side of the plaza and I could capture it. I'll attach the error.
Also, if I play the game with firefox open in the background, it is extremely fast. I can't read what people say because it's so fast. Does anyone else have that problem or is it just my system?
Anyway, the game is awesome! Thanks!
