I'm sure almost everyone has played the original... but maybe there are some that haven't.

Feel like a cop out already to ask for help, but I can't figure out the lever puzzle to open the trap door.

So I found the books, found the levers... but have absolutely no clue where I am supposed to find out in what order I'm supposed to pull these.

Maybe a hint?

Haha im stuck there too. Been down the mountain and done everything I think I can do before going down the trapdoor. Have scoured the house form top to bottom looking for a clue .
Bet it's something real simple too, and i'll be kicking myself once I found it haha.

Also stuck. Tried every room in the house, much of Llewdor, and tried looking for those symbols. Nothing. Even tried the game manual.

Hint. if you are spending to much time in one spot you are probably in the wrong spot. Explore and you shall find it.

Can you answer this hint? Is it in the mansion or outside the mansion?

i didn't want to just post the answer when the games only been out a few hours LOL. I sent you a PM.

Just play and explore the game world and you'll eventually come across it. And I mean exploring without magic-mapping all the time.

Figured it out. Completely missed a screen through my exploring.

It's outside the mansion, Zatos. Be literate.

I found the Trapdoor

The code to the levers is not actually generated until you find the clue that tells you what it is. This makes it impossible to guess and get in early. Can't have people that have played KQ3 having an unfair advantage, can we?

Explore Llewdor and you'll find it. Take BT's comment literally.

And even if it wasn't generated later on, there's still about 9765625 possible combinations.

Man I like the new Challenge of not being able to get in the laboratory right a way.

Also thanks for the hints they helped me alot with getting the necessary item for the laboratory puzzle.

I figured out how to open the door, but is it supposed to be hard to get it to close? I am clicking everywhere and it wont let me close it. Am I just not hitting the right spot or is that a bug? I am so far loving this game. You guys did such a great job. Well worth staying up all night waiting to be able to download it.

Haven't been to the trap door, but I think I found the hint mentioned here. Though it was easy to find, It was quite much for a code though....

I came here after wandering the house a bit looking for clues, and noone here had a real hint either at the time.

I'm glad I didn't get a hint. It's not that hard to find the answer to this puzzle.

You have to click on the spot where the levers are. The blue books concealing the levers should be visible in the bookcase.

Your not hitting the correct spot to close the trap door it is in the similar area to where you have opened it.

The trap door is a joke and a waste of time. Quit your game, go and IA's King's Quest 3 game and things will be alot easier for you. They didn't do this trap door code crap! Or even make it so you ONLY get 15 minutes when the wizard leaves or naps!

Oversight, I'm gonna be frank. If you want a hint, request one. But stop overreacting and spamming the same thing in every thread. As you can see here, people are capable of figuring this kind of thing out. Don't keep this up.

Spamming? I don't even know how to do that. I typed in every thread all on my own. Not sure what you mean? I wish there was a cheat code so you could get everything you need then get rid of the wizard.
