AGDInteractive - Sierra Adventure Game Remakes Forum

Okay, I just finished the game. SO awesome! I have to admit it was very nice getting to figure out all these puzzles again (and actually in some ways having played the original and IA remakes actually made it more difficult .) I even somehow managed to get full points on my playthrough (yay being of the paladin mindset when dealing with Smaude), but I seem to have missed one thing.

The Item. I cannot for the life of me find it. I know it exists somewhere in the game, but I didn't find it.

Anybody want to help a guy out?

It's in Seran's treasure chest.

Kind of off topic but I figured this might be a good spot to ask (what with the giant spoiler flag out front)

Did anyone try giving the Item to the Father on your way back to the castle? I don't know if you can or not but I've been thinking about it since I beat the game yesterday. I'd try it myself but the bloody thing isn't working for me right now.

i tried it, it had a responce like, "Why would he want that". and thats it.

So thats not my missing point. huh. I finished with 209 outta 210 my first go round.

-Medusa was dealt with kindly
-gave the fish to the eagle
-snooped on the bandits as a fly

It's gotta be something minor and inconsequential to the game itself.

What about the letter?

Well I don't think I got the item, so it must not be the orb. Does that mean there is more than one solution to the puzzle?

The Item is in the chest, but not immediately visible.

Found it. Once again my somewhat paladin-esque traits worked against me (after all, it's not nice to go rifling through someone else's possessions when what you need and have been offered is immediately obvious.)

Now to figure out all the rest of the ending 'achievements'
