I'm sure this is fairly simple, but I can't figure out for the life of me how to catch the Chicken, and get a feather. Any tips?

Just distract them.

Duh haha. I'm a little bit rusty in Adventure games, and this one is the first one I've done in over a year, so I have a feeling I would have never figured that out. Thanks a lot, and great game so far.

This is also something I noticed something new to KQ3R. In Classic KQ3, I can grab it as long as I am near it

Unless the programming was changed since I first implemented it, you can catch a chicken without distracting them. You have to stand near them though. This is nearly impossible to do with as quickly as they run around.

I tried catching the chicken without distracting them and when I did not get the message about being too far, I heard the chicken dodges...

Do you think if the chcikens were eating they would stand still and be less aware of you?

It may have been changed; Erpy told me you have to feed them.
