I have tried to run as fast as I can with the directions which took me to the castle the first time. I get within three screens and he eats my throat as if he has never had a full meal!!! I have the tierra, so that is not the problem..... <p></p><i></i>

I'm afraid you took waaay too long. You had the time until dawn to find the tiara and bring it back. When you left the castle, dawn was only 30 minutes away. If you saved while dawn was a mere 10 seconds away, you'll be stuck. Yeah, you have 30 minutes, but I believe the timer freezes while you're inside the castle, church or a graveyard. It doesn't really become day. The Count appears just before sunrise. No, I goofed and wrote over the extra saved game I had. I suppose I have to do the whole game over again...Unless anyone has an idea. Good thing that Cherokees were not in this game, we would have tried to become friends with the Count and he still would have sucked our blood. If there is any advice, it would be appreciated. It was mentioned earlier that the thorns which keep getting me on the path could be rendered harmless. Enchantment? I kept saving each time I took a step and did not die. This took quite a while. If I have to start over, it would be nice to know how to "cut down" the thorn situation. <p></p><i></i>

When the winged steed dropped you off after your visit with the Cloud Spirit, did he say anything regarding protection from the poison in the land? That's your clue on how to get by those irritating thorns. Just be sure to read or listen to what he says very carefully.<br><br>~Wolfgang <p></p><i></i>

Ah, Wolfgang, the eternal optimist. Thank goodness for you. Of course Erpy, Storm, and Vildern have been great. I honestly tried to solve the puzzles with only looking at the forums, and most of the time, the hints were enough, however, I think this time Mr. Abenteuer is right. I should start over, more the wise, and less the procrastinator. Still think it is the thorns which are causing the problem of time. <p></p><i></i>

Yeah, if you just save every few steps while trying to get through the maze of thorns it can get rather tedious, but if you find out how to get by there without needing to do that (see my previous post) then you'll just be able to zip through there unscathed with only one mouse click. <!--EZCODE EMOTICON START ;) --><img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... s/wink.gif ALT=";)"><!--EZCODE EMOTICON END--> <br><br>Enjoy playing the game again!
