Hey..

I'm sure I'm missing something obvious, but I just can't seem to get the dwarf to open his door. It's night, and I've just gotten the cross from the church and overheard all the wolf stuff.

Thanks much

Raf

Have you also spoken with Possum at night? She'll give you a reason to go into the dwarf's house.

If you have, then go back to the dwarf's house screen. He's not likely to open the door with you standing right out front, however, so perhaps there's somewhere on that screen you would be more concealed...

~Wolfgang

I'm not a score queen, but is it possible to retrieve stolen objects from that loathsome dwarf? Does the dwarf always steal items?

I don't believe so. However, IIRC, the dwarf will not steal anything from you that you will need to finish the game.
"Lose yourself in the music, the moment
You own it, you better never let it go
You only get one shot; do not miss your chance to blow
This opportunity comes once in a lifetime"

Actually, yes...you will be able to retrieve your stolen item from the dwarf at a point later in the game (you'll know when).

~Wolfgang

IIRC? What does the dwarf steal? I want to make sure I have all items and that they are all accounted ffor.

IIRC = "If I remember correctly"

The dwarf can steal either of two treasures: The earrings or the brooch. You'll need one of those later on, so if the dwarf steals one you can always use the other (and get the stolen one back later on).

~Wolfgang
