AGDInteractive - Sierra Adventure Game Remakes Forum

I was able to install KQI fine, but when i go to start playing the game, an error comes up saying i should report it here and to record the numbers down.

CJ is the creator of the game engine AGDI uses. He does drop by here fairly often to provide support. Hopefully he'll be by soon.

In the mean time, I suggest making sure you have the current version of DirectX from Microsoft. It's a free download.

hey for some reason i got the same exact error when trying to run the game using the desktop shortcut, but when i went straight to the installation folder (c:\progra~1\tierra\kqvga\) and used the "hard icon" it worked fine, so try that!

I'm getting that exact error as well...
Currently monkeying with the options.
I'll post if I figure anything out.  
Any help appreciated!

Edit: Ok, finally got playing again! I uninstalled the one copy I just downloaded, and installed a copy I downloaded awhile back.  (Same version.) I might have had a problem while downloading my latest copy - or a problem installing it. Anywho that's how I solved my issue, maybe it'll help you.

I receive the same error pop-up... Reinstalling the game didn't help... I tried changing different options in the options menu but it didn't work either.

Any ideas how to make it work?
