what do i give wolves?

Ok, I looked through the walkthrough and tried to find where i messed up. Apparently I dont have any "wolf's bane" with me so now I'm cornered by a bunch of bloodthursty carnivores. Luckily I saved before I got cornered. However I do not know what to do or what to give them instead of "Wolf's bane".
Any help would be appreciated.

You still have two solutions available. You can flee before the wolves get to you, or you can fight them. It's a good thing that you brought something to use for self defense.

You say you are cornered. Are you in the swamp or out in the countryside? Anathoth's solution will work if you are encountering the woves in the countryside, but you'll have to use something a bit more potent if you are encountering the wolves in the swamp.

If it's at the swamps, you'll be surprised that you can pick up the weapon right next to you...

i have got the bible page from the church and i can't find the meaning of it.Can you please tell me the meaning of it.
Secondly,i'can't find the Grandmother's daughter(granddaugter).can you help me to find her.
thirdly,how can i dig in the graveyard,is something missing in my inventory,if it is,can you please tell me what is it.

The words themselves mean nothing. Look at the letters that start each word.

Have you have received two items from the church and seen the cutscene after leaving? Also, to avoid a dead end, you must help the creature living in the haystack before the girl will appear. After this, she will show up in the screen south of the treehouse.

You shouldn't read ahead, you'll only confuse yourself.
You'll know when you need to dig.

But there is no item right next to me,its that the rope or anything else please tell me.I'm in the swamp and i'm cornered by wolves.

There definitely IS something next to you. And you'll have plenty of time to get it. (it's something hollow that's found at the edge of lakes)
