Help: Night Portion is too Dark

#1 Post by alex_barton » Wed Sep 01, 2004 12:07 am

I just entered the night portion of the game, and find it too dark to make out things. I already have my monitor turned up. Is there anything else I can do?

Well it is ment to be very dark, make sure you turn out your light or something like that to see the levels better. :)

Maybe this helps: I have noticed that picture tubes tend to be better than flatscreens. They seem to have better contrast. So if you are using a laptop for example you might want to connect it to an external monitor (but not a flatscreen).

Mainly all flatscreens give out a grey effect if too far or (I think?) too close. ;)

Not sure what you mean but the angle from which you are looking at a flatscreen usually has a lot of influence on how well you can see what is being displayed. On some flatscreens you can practically see nothing when looking from a bad angle.

If you're in the swamp, you don't have to see much except the cursor. If you're over the swamp and the screen's still too dark, you're in a problem. But nobody can make out much of the swamp at night, so it might not be a screen problem after all.
