cant download

hey everyone, i cant download any files. i take it the server is down. if anyone knows exactly whats going can you please post? i'm interested in playing this series from the beginning, i've only played (blissfully) part V

Actually, there are several servers. Every time you click download, it selects a random server for you to download from.

Try again a couple of times, eventually you'll get one that works.

Thanks for the reports. There have been reports via email as well. I will investigate and find out why there are troubles.

I can add something to that. I tried downloading, and the link just does not exits.
(/tierra/kq1/v3.0/KQ1VGA.EXE)

Furthermore I am on dial-up, so Getrigth is a must for me.
which means that I will only be able to download if linked files actually exist, regardless their availability status:

when Getright receives a busy, this is one thing, but when it receives a "file not exists", it terminates and cancels the download in progress...
