It was about time this game got released. It's been great working with all of the wanderful personel of all the other (now dead) fan projects. I can't wait to start working on our next game.  ;)

So KQ3 is no longer being worked on?  I was looking forward to voice acting, AND playing the game.

KQ3 unfortunatly is not being worked on as a single project anymore. We've utilised some of the artwork and animations in the new project, which us former IA people think will be the greatest fangame ever produced.

The techs are working on the issue and the site should be up anytime now. I haven't slept and it's dawn so I'm sleeping now that I know the techs are working on it.

Keep checking the url above too because the site is really pretty!

Damn, Hope the site will be back soon. It's kind of funny, the site just shuts down as soon as we announce it. Ah welll, good luck with getting it back up quickly.  ;)

I'm glad to see we're finally live. It's not easy being indie.

So... What does this mean? :eek  :eek

I REALLY hope you're not saying that such as great projects as Quest for Infamy and A Tale of Two Kingdoms are destroyed now? Those upcoming projects were really promising. What is the future of them now?

It is never wise to stop a project that is nearly completed (like LucasArts did with Sam & Max 2).

Well, yes, that's exactly what we're saying. It's very cool to write a plot and design a game and everything, but it's a tremendous amount of work to get all the graphics, music and animation done. And there's problems with keeping team members active and motivated, real life interfering, et cetera.

It was a tough decision, but we've finally made the switch and combined the best elements of each game. Rather than four overly ambitious projects that would likely never be finished, this gives you one grand game that is almost complete as we speak.

This smells an awful lot like bullshit.

Some projects were having artist difficulties (Project Katrina, for example..) and another reason for the merger was to help out those art-deprived projects.

Basically, after the merger - We had the art - all we needed was the plot :) and characters :)

I'm stuck on the riddles...interesting game, though.....I guess it was worth cancelling all the other promising products for...

but....I notice the lake of a 'professional midi soundtrack'. ??

I think this could have been handled differently.  Why did everyone swear up and down the other day that this wasn't true?  It's a pretty small community here, and I imagine quite a few people are feeling disappointed or lied to.

Regardless, congratulations on getting the game released.  It looks very cool and very professional, and I'll download it later tonight.

You might need to reinstall...  After a few playthoughs, my midi's quit working - I just needed to reinstall :)

Technically, it' was just with Hero6 and Corby Designs - and Heroine Quest had nothing to do with this.

And - it was a top secret project...  We weren't going to come straight out and say - Yeah - Cain's got us...  We're doing a game... :)

Sorry if anybody was offended!

You know, I hadn't thought of that...but it's still early; it would be kind of low to spring an April Fool's before April.
