A team effort
The original demo on which King's Quest III Redux was based was scripted by Sean Nichols (Nanyuke04) who became
the project's lead director and scripter. Musician Brandon Blume (MusicallyInspired), who supplied the initial
demo with music, wrote a completely original soundtrack for King's Quest III Redux that became a very worthy
successor to Tom Lewandowski's King's Quest II: Romancing the Stones soundtrack. Forum Administrator Stijn van
Empel (Erpy) joined the development team to assist as a scripter.
The eventual visual look was based on the vision of a talented team of senior artists, John Paul Selwood, Emily
Selwood, Johan Botes, and Eriq Chang who set an amazingly high visual standard for the game.
The rest of the King's Quest III Redux team consisted of talented members both old and new. Daniel Stacy handled
the writing elements, Britney Brimhall and Chris Warren (Anonymous Game Developer #1 and #2) helped out with
dialog pictures, animations, voice production, lip-syncing, and scripting, and Tom Lewandowski donated some
amazing pieces of music for several key scenes. In addition, Brandon Klassen (Relight) assisted with managing and
artwork. Artists Anthony Hahn (Cornjob), Shannon Novak, and Daniel Tyman (Meridian Smith) contributed to the
graphical part of the game and Pieter Simoons (Radiant) contributed the scripting department.
King's Quest III Redux also features the voice talents of Hollywood-based actor Robert Adamson as Gwydion, John Bell as the
narrator, Josh Mandel reprising the role of King Graham, Richard Aronson, Lori Cole, and a cast of several other
seasoned voice actors - bringing a previously unheard level of vocal professionalism to this game.
King's Quest III Redux's development was clearly a team project in the truest meaning of the term!
