Re: NEW GAME

hmmm... you know... there was a thread in the offtopic forum a little while ago with EGAized pictures. Wasn't it KQ5 and KQ6?? Hmmm... maybe?!? http://www.agdinteractive.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=12013 KQ5, 6, and some of QFG4. As well as that very nice one from LOTRO that he did. I hope h...

There's an edit button that makes spam posting useless. It's located on the bottom right corner of your posts. It lets you edit your post so you don't HAVE to make a new post.

Isn't there a way to ask for the black portrait as your sponsor? Left-clicking on it when prompted maybe?

I purchase a lot of DVD movies and tv shows and yeah, sometimes they're crap and I've wasted my money. But buying a new game costs anywhere from $70 to $110 for the new PS3 games. Complete DVD box sets range from the low $20 mark. It's simply the scale of it, I can't afford to waste close to a hund...

I'm confused; where in my posts did I claim I hate Blizzard or WoW because it's successful?  To me, it looks like I was providing some perhaps harsh and blunt skepticism that this release would be subpar because the most important thing to a business is money.  And that's what WoW generates for them...

Oh secret cow level.  How I missed you and your mooing.

But seriously, if Diablo 3 turns out to be one damn top notch game, then I will gladly admit I'm wrong.  As it stands, we'll see how they do when they realize they have money.  Loooooooooooooots of money.

How far back are you going?  Before Diablo, Blizzard released strategy games.  Warcraft, Warcraft 2, The Lost Vikings.  Those sorts of things.  Those are the only ones I can think of because that's all I've played from them.  I didn't get introduced to Blizzard as a company until my brother brought ...

Alright, I'll defend my viewpoint.   Yea, Blizzard's products have been damn good.  I enjoyed the games they put out.  But a game like Diablo and Diablo 2 were partially meant to be multiplayer - Diablo 2 especially.  However, even on their closed servers, hacked items were there, making playing wit...

To me, computer gaming has always been a problematic business.  If I go to a local gaming store and browse their selection, I'll see a huge amount of titles, most of them priced in the $40-$50 range.  Only most of these games will be cheap knockoffs of other better games.  Therefore, I won't buy the...

Sadly, I'm not expecting anything spectacular because... it's Blizzard.  They've already got their money making machine(World of Warcraft).  They can pretty much go half-assed on their other projects.

Now that I know what it is...

That has got to be one of the stupidest ideas a person or group of people could ever come up with.  Any owner of a website would have to pay out of his own pocket, and it just wouldn't happen.

I need to get a PSP eventually.  They've gotten cheaper now, right?  But will the new firmware installed let me play things like emulated games on it?

I'm eagerly awaiting Dragon Quest 4 for the DS too.  :D

It might be tough to make a compelling adventure game between KQ2 and 3.  I would imagine that the three headed dragon would cause destruction around Daventry.  Not exactly sure what you could do as Graham, since he seemed pretty powerless to stop the dragon...

Just from what I've described of the God of War series to my friend I know how much it walks over Greek mythology. Fallout 2 teaches you how to run a nuclear power plant, it's educational! Funny, cause there's an old Dos game called "Oakhurst(or something) Nuclear power plant" that does ex...

*sigh*  Games are meant to be time wasters.  It only becomes a problem if you start forsaking stuff that's important to you for games.  School, work, or even your health suffering are an indication that you should cut back.

Also, *tapes Brainiac's mouth shut* no talky for you.  ^_^

Forum lag

It seems that lately whenever I visit the forums, they lag terribly.  It takes a couple minutes to load the forums and topics.  Is anyone else experiencing this or is it just me?

The floppy disk version of QFG4 was released first.  The CD talkie version wasn't released until several months later.  The CD contained a bunch of patches that cleaned up the really buggy first release.  :P

That's if I'm remembering right, which I think I am.

I think that the text parser for QFG2 was rather lenient.  It understood many synonyms, and my first real playthrough(when I was 16 or so) I wasn't too terribly frustrated by the game's lack of understanding stuff.  It was one of the last text parser games released by Sierra, so I'd say it's pretty ...
