Re: What AGDI Expects From Fans?
Plus in English "he" is typically considered the default pronoun due to a lack of a gender-neutral one. It's true. Some people say "they" instead, but that's also incorrect. And if you say, "he or she," it can get tiring to read after seeing it more than a couple times...

Re: QFG Artwork
I REALLY like that dragon in the first pic. In fact I like almost the whole thing, aside from the Hero's right forearm/hand. I think it's the foreshortening or some funny word that people more artistic than I use, but at any rate it looks too small. Fix that and it's a really fantastic picture in my...

Re: Firefox 3.0 Released Today!!
I jumped ship from I.E. in 2003 or 2004 at I think version 6 before the SP2 fixes came out, when popups and spyware were at their worst. On the old board, when you clicked on a link it would open in a new window (or tab). The new board does not do this. Can you do this again? If you're using Firefox, shift+left clicking a link will open any link in a new window, and ctrl+left click will open it in a new tab. Might be the same in I.E...

Re: Progress Update Thread (formerly known as quest for glory 2)
I wish they had date stamps. Heh, I remember signing up for the newsletter a year or two ago, and thought maybe I didn't sign up correctly or something, but I guess that solves the mystery of why the newsletters never showed up in my inbox. I was figuring they were just little messages sent out when...

Now that I have an actual job, I've often considered writing checks to any companies that are still around whose games I've pirated years past, but I'm not sure how to address the check and letter, and also I'm just kind of lazy and passive about things like that. Maybe I should start emailing righ...

Likewise, there are other factors involved in why the game didn't do as well as anticipated, the main ones being that certain members of the community conspired to cast the game/development team in a very negative light, which I suspect was related to a major publisher pulling out of a North Americ...
