Every time I look at this page, I think, "Damn. Well, at least we're not the only ones with 6 jillion pages of retarded bugs." :lol

There was a specific reason why it ended up being the way it was, but I'd rather PM it to you as opposed to blurting it out on here. Not that it's skulduggery or anything, just a personal preference.

The difference between voice acting and live acting is in real vs. fake people. Take, for example, a TV show. On a live-action TV show, the actor's emotion can be displayed through body language, subtext, through subtle facial movements and such like that. The ENTIRE actor is there, and so the actor...

QFG2VGA won't have a voicepack. For normal adventures, where clicking on an NPC results in one to three lines of dialogue, this is fairly feasible, but for a game with dozens of NPC's, each with dozens of dialog lines, the amount of work is simply not worth the time it'd take to produce. Well, I pe...

I always push for voice packs in games. The added dimension of hearing that character's voice, of seeing how that actor's interpretation of that character fits in with the character and the tapestry of the game's world and adds to the deeply rich experience of a good game, is highly appetizing to me...

I dig the darker tones, myself. Although my favorite KQ cover image is the cover to KQ5, this is still a really cool piece of art and my favorite out of the ones you've done so far, MI. As for the "7 games in 1" thing, that was on the compilation box, so I don't really mind that. Plus, if ...

I'd say we're still quite a ways away from a robot apocalypse, but that's kind of cool. I mean, you could tell that the robot can only respond to certain things at this moment (notice the robot only recognizing the word "washroom" as opposed to restroom or bathroom or toilet, etc.), but it...

Probably, heheh. I don't know, man! I have hard enough times remembering things day-to-day. Gimme a break! :p Heh where was the accusation? Well, we don't tolerate piracy. You may want to consider purchasing it. Not sure if Vivendi/Sierra still sells the KQ Collection, but you can try searching eBay...

I don't know. Like you said, we can only really postulate on what's really going on behind the scenes, and half my info's probably way off base anyway, so...*shrug*. I just hope we'll see this game SOMEDAY. I'd feel pretty damn cheated if all my hard work went to waste as well.

Well, I believe one of their scenarios involved attempts at actually purchasing the copyrights themselves, though I still don't see how that could be made to be thought plausible at any point in time. I mean, perhaps it's the naivete thing AGD2's talking about, but then again if there are profession...

Well, from my understanding, there are certain unnamed people (but it's been heavily hinted at that they may actually be ex-Sierra employees) who signed on to work on SQ7 under the condition that Vivendi will NEVER own their work. Therefore, they made a promise and they plan to keep it. That's very ...

I believe he was talking about doing KQ1 and KQ2 videos, using the KQ5 and KQ6 videos he already made as examples of what he wanted to do with the AGDI remakes.

The thing of it is that they were offered the same deal AGDI and KQ9 were, but it was something they weren't willing to take. Therefore, I don't see what a petition would do as it would probably only succeed in the same deal being put forth again.

Vivendi didn't pre-screen the last two games. They reviewed them after they'd already been out for a long while, when AGDI signed the contract essentially giving Vivendi ownership of those games. Since QFG2 wasn't done when the contract was signed, it and any other remake they have brewing for the f...

I hate to sound like an AGS-head, but if you go to the AGS Beginner's FAQ or the AGS forums (or read the help file), all of those answers are right there for you. BUT, because I rule so greatly, here's how you have someone die. Say, for example, you're remaking KQ4 and you want Rosella to fall of a ...

You think that's bad, I recently realized that I've come up on 10 years of posting in Sierra-related message boards. That's 10 years of talking Sierra adventures. That seems crazy to me.
