I think I just must be to used to living in a country where the goverment however full of problems it may or may not be has a basic health service in place for people to get free/cheap medical care. Yep, that's definitely it. In the US you can lose everything you own if you have health problems an...

I think it is admirable that Brassfire is being honest and asking permission to use the money to improve things for herself and her partner. It's a known fact that the welfare system seems determined to keep people trapped in poverty. Using this money to help her establish her partner and make it ...

Y'know, regardless of whether or not deleting his posts or replacing them with dots messes up the flow of threads, the posts he makes are his to do with what he wishes. If he later on decides that he doesn't like what he's posted and wants to remove it, he can. Many people do this, delete their own...

Re: Why does Windows still suck?
Last night I was playing my newly-purchased copy of Neverwinter Nights: Platinum Edition . My sorcerer had just finished delivering a long-range butt-kicking and was moving in to inspect the booty when frustratingly, but not unexpectedly, the sound began looping and the mouse wouldn't move. Shortly...

Valentine's Day is very hard on those without that special someone. I remember being in High School and watching all the girls with their candy and flowers and soppy love letters. I remember getting one (anonymous) Valentine's Day card. I eventually figured out who it was by process of eliminatio...

I'd go with suing ... since suing someone is so damn easy these days. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/6914824/ Well in America anyway. Life sucks for those who try to help others... especially in America! I volunteered at a nursing home where I got in trouble for resting in a resident game room betwee...

Sorry, I missed your edited post, Angelus .Angelus3K wrote:Exactly Rosel, check what I proposed ;)EDIT: I think we should in the interests of the community put this behind us, we're all friends and I think we should give Rog another chance and talk to him like an adult and in turn he responds in kind.

Hope this helps...it's pretty basic. ;) Erana the archmage is one of the most powerful beings Devon met during his quests. Her mother was a mage and her father was of the Faerie Folk, therefore she grew up with magic and a great love of the land. Although she trained for a few years at the Wizard's ...

winter :-/
Yeah, I feel for ya...it went down to 8 degrees last night and today it didn't get higher than 20! Last week it was in the 70s! I wish it had stayed in the 70s all through the winter months. I don't know if I would go as far as saying that I hate winter...there can be nice things to winter. But ...

I remember The Little Mermaid on Nintendo (1989-1990). That game really got on my nerves. And of course there's King's Quest VII... The Princeless Bride 1994 I think you covered just about all of them, Spikey! LOL, there aren't many female protagonists in a game... :\ Edit: Just out of interest, I ...
