Will you read "My Life" by Bill Clinton?
Just curious... he came to sign his book at the Borders across the street from my office (I couldn't go, there were at least 1,000 people there and I couldn't wait that long).

Yep, I would definitely read his autobiography. I think he was a great president, not to say that he didn't have flaws...who doesn't? In the long run--the Clinton years were great! Just compare the economy then to the economy now! (Not to mention gas/fuel prices...$.79 at it's lowest during the Clinton years, to $1.89 now!!!)

Clinton pulled the US economy out of a huge deficit and pushed it upto a growing Surplus!
No Prizes for guessing what that Wanker BUSH did with it...
Well, incase you didn't know, the US is now in it's GREATEST DEFICIT EVER, almost 1 TRILLION dollars... lol
But yeah, Clinton was the best modern president. Still wont read his book though. Since Americans piss me off too much.

Clinton was a Poll president, nothing more. He had nothing to do with the econony, the economy grew because the U.S. econony started surging upwards around the late 1980's and early 1990's. THEN clinton came into office, laid off 10's of thousands of federal employees, got some action from his intern, and then got out just when the economy started slowing down from its recent rise.Grundy wrote:Clinton pulled the US economy out of a huge deficit and pushed it upto a growing Surplus!

As for what Bush did to the economy? Well when a couple planes crash into the World Trade Center towers and create absolute havok with the economy a recession usually sets in, which wouldn't of happened if Clinton had taken care of the rising terrorist threat in the 1990's.
politics...
Sorry to hear that. We aren't all the same, you must consider. Only the mean ones get to travel to Australia... (j/k)Grundy wrote:But yeah, Clinton was the best modern president. Still wont read his book though. Since Americans piss me off too much.

What US diplomats have to say about the Bush Administration's "view" on foreign policy:

All of this has come to pass...

Interesting...if this wasn't about oil?!

I love this commentary (sums everything up for me):

Grasping at straws, Mr. President?
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/americas/3812351.stm
Bush says that he does not condone what happened to the prisoners in Abu Ghraib...however there is proof that he supported the torture of detainees...as stated in the following article...this really makes us look bad!
http://www.cnn.com/2004/ALLPOLITICS/06/ ... index.html
What is Bush so afraid of when it comes to the release of Director Michael Moore's documentary "Farenheit 9/11" in America's cinemas?
http://www.progressivetrail.org/article ... immo.shtml
And finally...here's a little quote I absolutely love:
"To announce that there must be no criticism of the president, or that we are to stand by the president right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public."
-- Theodore Roosevelt
There, I've said my piece...no more politics!

That's okay, Australians don't bother me at all. They are like Canadians - beneath notice.Grundy wrote:Clinton pulled the US economy out of a huge deficit and pushed it upto a growing Surplus!
