Truly is a work of art. Bugged me that the ending left a lot of questions unanswered...but being a story that was cut in half I can't complain too much. Can only wait for HL3. Great game.

I played Half Life 2 for maybe 15 minutes, and I became so bored, I chose to cut my toe-nails instead.

I agree with Blackthrone. I've tried several times to get into the first-person shooters but they always annoy me. It doesn't matter whether it's Half Life 2, Doom 3, HALO or whatever, I can never the co-ordination for all the different weapons right.

I've been playing them since Wolfenstein along with Space Quest and King's Quest. Don't get me wrong, adventures are surely better. But there was always a place for FPS in my book as long as they were good. I didn't like Doom, but Duke3D was great fun. When Half Life came out I thought it had the best story of them all. Not a no-brainer shoot-em-up, but with an actual story with actual character in reasonably realistic situations and drama.

I would have given up on them since Unreal went the way of the multiplayer tournament crap, but Half-Life renewed my hope that they won't go completely down the tubes. I didn't like Halo very much, though. Interesting concept for a story, but too strategic and militaristic and shoot-the-baddies-esque and not enough free-exploring-like (or at least the illusion of exploring) for me.

MI & Erpy> Did you play it on hard? I always play my games on hard, gives a great challenge. I love the gravity gun you get in the game and when it obsorbs the energy from the somputer system then becomes blue and then you can kill people and pick up anything you want. Man this game truly rules.

I think the G-Man must have some sort of power because he was the one who took over the planet Zen in HL1, because he seems to be able to stop time. HL3 will truly be amazing.

Dont you just love the engine?

I made a promise to myself to ignore your avatar unless it'd start confusion among members, Music head. So I'm afraid I'll have to ask you to change it to avoid people thinking you're me.

I haven't bought HL2 yet, because my computer is too slow.
Maybe I'll buy it once I get a better computer, and when a few mods have been released.

Try converting it to a Web-friendly format (e.g. JPEG, GIF, or PNG) first.  BMPs aren't good.
