Yeah... I'm a little miffed now... I searched online for over an hour today, and it seems that the cartoon DVDs are only made for region 2..   :cry

Prince Adam (that's his name, hey?) wasn't weak. Maybe he is in the new versions (I dunno, haven't watched them), but in the old ones he was just as muscley as anyone else. He just wore more clothes :p

He looks like a weakling in the new version. The transformation is quite drastic.

I tried finding a cartoon pic of Prince Adam, but this was all I could find.

Searching for images led to the discovery of She-Ra 2003.

Was she ever in the new He-Man episodes?

[edit] Ok, apparently clicking on the link directly won't work. You'll have to copy the url and paste it in a new browser window to view the pic.

No but Hordak was in that new episode. But only in a shadow version.

When I watched that new episode I just started to laugh so hard when I saw Man-At-Arms with a brand new hairlook and he had a ponytail.  :lol And I  laughed even harder when Adam exchanged to He-man with some kind of radar sword.

But when I finally saw the replay of this episode I started to watch this cartoons because I really like how much have being changed from the 80's cartoon.

Nicolas Cage as Skeletor. Bwhahahahahahahahhahahhahahhahahahhahaha  :rollin

Why not Jim Carrey? At least he has acted with a mask before. And he can laugh like Skeletor.

Y'know the more I think about it, the more I think the Rock really might not make a bad He-Man..  as Thepal pointed out, in the original, Adam was just as muscly as He-Man, just a lot dorkier.  And say what you want, but the Rock really is a pretty good actor when given something decent to work with.  Granted, like Jennifer Garner, he would probably look pretty funny with poofy blond hair as well.

And Nicolas Cage is way too calm for Skeletor.  Skeletor's very excitable and cackly... sorry Nick, you just can't pull that off.  Besides, if they have "stars" playing every major character, there's no way they're gonna be able to afford making this movie.

Talking of the new He-Man cartoon I'm sure you guys know that Prince Adam/He-Man is voiced by the same actor that was the voice of Freddy Pharkus!!

Original Prince Adam: http://www.he-manandshe-ra.org/kpics1/dgift.jpg

I think the Rock would make a great He-Man. He even kinda looks like the original He-Man... if he dies his hair :P

But I hate Jennifer Garner. She *cannot* play She-Ra. That would just kill the movie. She's too... Jennifer Garner.

Of course, I can't actually think of a better person to play her at the moment...

I think Milla Jovovich should be someone though (I like her :p ). Evil Lynn or the Sorceress. I can't decide. Probably Evil Lynn. She'd make a good baddie.

Yeah, I ermember the original Prince Adam. It's amazing how nobody suspected him as He-Man with that kind of body structure.

As for the new Prince Adam, I just realised that he's not that puny after all, even though his body structure is still pathetic compared with his alter-ego.

http://he-man.3wpages.com/2002cartoon.html

Also, it appears that He-Man toys did poorly in the US, and there's a rumour going around that the cartoon series might be discontinued. What are the chances of this new movie not taking off?

What a coincidence, I've just been scavenging for information about him. He's a great pick for He-Man. He just needs to pump up those muscles a bit.

Nah, they brought snake people in in one of the later seasons. They were my favourite too.

Hmm... what were their names...

Cobra-Khan was one I think... Umm... Can't remember. So long ago

I don't know how many of you have ever played the game Silent Hill.

But this must be very happy news for all Silent Hill fans like me. I own both 1 (PS1) and 3 (PS2) of this series .  :D

Yeah, my girlfriend loves Silent Hill! This should be a good flick.  When I told her they were filming it, she screamed as if it was the seconds coming of the Beatles.
