This was an AMAZING project, with amazing people - who all have a great sense of humour. I'd love to work with any of them on other projects as well. This was just to have fun, in our community, and showcase some of our game work.
I also think it introduced a lot of us to each other in a capacity which we've never known each other before.
I think HOIK is really funny, and part of it's charm IS that it's choppy and such. The voice work is awesome, and my "joke" about the Turban came off funnier when I heard it in the voice pack.
That said - yes, animators are probably the most needed for projects. It's time consuming work.
I just love it when I hear complaints from "Skilless" people, as well. If I was charging you $40 a pop for the game, yeah, I could understand your bitching. But for getting a free game that did nothing but entertain you..... I'd say you need to wipe better, because your ass is chapped.
Anyway, thanks to all who complimented, and a special thanks to the SSS team. You guys were amazing.

Yeah, that was a really nice joke, so much that Striker (the voice of the Old Man) became known as THETURBAN!!! in the herocia forums. :lol

If the game wasn't so crappy, I might have believed the joke . For example, if the backgrounds were more unified and other things like if the text boxes were redone and not the original AGS format. But you're right. It was a lot to put together in just 1 month and you guys did an amazing job. Well done. It was nicely played, too. Well-planned ahead of time. And it is a good way to advertise the other various projects.
