I don't know much about it since it was him who tried doing it all the time. I know that it connected once but it wouldn't go beyond that and actually do anything. I do know that the IP address showed up on the Router's connected IP list. It just wouldn't go any farther than that or actually connect to anything online. Was weird.
I saw that light turn on right when I first tried a cube game in the Wii, I thought the light also turned on when cube games were in. I was actually a little dissapointed when it turned out just to be a message. lol
In other news, the beta version of the Wii internet browser (Opera) should be available on friday. Whether its for Americans only or worldwide though, I'm not sure... Good luck on that guys! (and judging by your presence here on the forums, you really need that browser too. especially without a keyboard... )

If you haven't noticed, I'd recommend you use the T9-ish functionality included. It speeds it up slightly, since you don't have to type the entire word.
(Not posted from the Internet Channel, as I'm waiting for Microsoft to call back regarding an installation issue with IE7, and thus wait near the computer so I'm ready for them.)

I've been looking around, and I found this.

Would this be good enough to give me a wireless connection by putting it into my USB port?

for Christmas my bro got an I.o.Wii. I waited in line for 3 days (not continuously mind you) and on the day they had it I was ninth when they had 8 but the manager of EB said he would hold one for me on the next shipment in early January even though he's not allowed to. in other news I bought a 360 on Boxing day for a good deal. I saw PS3s on the shelf but I didn't want one especially now that MGS4 might be coming out on 360.

I said might, it defenitly wouldn't be the first MGS to get ported. Look at... all of them except for the PSP ones and Solid Snake/Snake's Revenge. Well I geuss 3 wasn't either but still, it wouldn't be a surprise especially now that PS3 has lost some of it's exclusives. I know it might not happen but I keep my fingers crossed because I'm never paying that much for a system.

PS3 to Launch in UK on 23rd March 2007
Over 30 Titles for Launch Period
1 Million units forecast for Initial European Launch Period
London, 24 January 2007 – Sony Computer Entertainment Europe today announced that PLAYSTATION®3 will be launched in the PAL territories including the United Kingdom on 23rd March 2007 at a price of £425.
Responding to retail and consumer demand, SCEE confirmed that initially only the 60GB model would be available, with the 20GB model to follow later in the year dependent on demand.
An expected one million PS3 units will be made available during the initial launch period to all SCEE territories.
SCEE also announced a stellar launch line-up of over 30 game titles for PS3, including eagerly awaited titles published by SCEE such as Resistance: Fall of Man™, MotorStorm™, Genji™: Days of the Blade, FORMULA ONE CHAMPIONSHIP EDITION and Ridge Racer™ 7. An exceptional range of titles in every genre will also be available at launch from the world’s leading third party publishers, including Electronic Arts, Activision, Namco Bandai, Sega, Take 2, Ubisoft, Vivendi Universal, and Sony Online Entertainment.
In addition to games on disc, an exciting range of fully-featured downloadable games
will debut on the PLAYSTATION®Network. These will include gaming icons such as Tekken®: Dark Resurrection and Gran Turismo® HD Concept; the fully-featured PS3 debut of the best-selling franchise Gran Turismo, realised with full HD (1080p) visual quality. Created by Polyphony Digital Inc and published by Sony Computer Entertainment, Gran Turismo® HD Concept has been downloaded by more than 350,000 users since it was released in December 2006 in North America and Japan.
Also available on the PLAYSTATION®Network will be brainteasers such as Go! Sudoku and Go! Puzzle, and innovative games such as Blast Factor™ and flOw™, designed exclusively for PLAYSTATION 3 and delivering on the promise to provide original content created by non-traditional developers and publishers.
Concurrent with the European launch, a new System Update to further enhance the entertainment potential of PS3 will be issued.
Announcing the launch details, Ray Maguire, SVP and MD of SCEUK said, “Following the hugely successful launches of PS3 in Japan and North America, we are absolutely delighted to be able to bring significant numbers of PS3 to the UK. To be able to launch with over 30 titles including retail versions and great downloadable gaming experiences across every genre shows that this is our strongest launch line-up in the history of PlayStation, and is what PlayStation fans in the UK have been crying out for.”

In somewhat related news, in America, the PS3 is already available for walk-in purchases at many retailers. The Wii remains sold out just about everywhere, and even with the high supply, there are still lines outside stores to get it every time it's shipped. A second feature has finally been added to Wii ware in the shop channel; The "Everybody Votes Channel"! It's pretty cool. You can register" one or more of your Miis to vote, and it even keeps track of what a Mii voted for, what it predicted to win, as well as how closely it matches the popular opinions of polls. You can also submit suggestions for future polls. Overall, I just love it. I reccomend everyone submiting "pirates or Ninjas" as a poll option. It's an issue that desperately needs to be addressed! Although why anyone would vote for pirates is beyond my understanding...
