The 2006 Merry Christmas Thread

#1 Post by Klytos » Fri Dec 22, 2006 7:33 am

Just wanted to take this opportunity to wish everyone at AGDI a Merry Christmas and a happy and prosperous new year.

Take the chance to wind down a little, enjoy time with family and friends and forget about the troubles on this little ball of mud we all live on for at least a few moments.

Shawn

Merry Christmas everyone.

Hmmm, Klytos, your holiday wish kinda reminds me of the message I know I'm going to get again when starting up AGS within a few days. :)

Erpy, I suppose it does sound a bit like that. It's been a while since I saw that though. My words are from the heart. Or the closest thing I have to a heart.

I wish you all merry christmass too. It looks like it will be red christmass in Iceland in this year. Today in Iceland is Þorláksmessa --Thorlaksmessa or whatever you call it. But then we in Iceland eat mandrake..but I don't like the the smell of it or the taste of it so I am not going to eat it hehe yuck :p ..I hate the mandrake. I will will rather have Pizza than eating that horrible smelly mandrake.

PS. I am back with my computer again. And I was getting pretty good typing with my own PSP. But unfortunatly the repairman didn't fix the sound problem I have. But I can't hear anything right now. So I have to get it fixed in next year..just my December unluck again you know. When December will finally be over I'll be lucky again.

I can't beleave my last backup I toke from my game from my hard disk wich I installed on DVD didn't work. What did I do wrong in that time. I should had checked if everything worked but I didn't have the time for that. I had done very much on the game anyway. But this is just my usual unluck again...hehehehe. :rollin

Oh well back from the start with my game project again.  :\

Well for the first time I've just eaten half a mince pie, drank half a glass of milk and got the dog to eat half of the carrot!

Can't wait to see my Katherine's face in the morning lol!!

Hmm, seeing as you refer to it as "the" carrot, does that mean in the UK there's some sort of tradition involving consuming half a mince pie, half a glass of milk, and half "the" carrot?

In any case though, Merry Christmas evryone! I suppose for some of you, I'm actually posting this on Christmas already... it's only quarter to seven here though... Still, almost there. woot!

It's a tradition for the kids to let them know Santa has been. You leave him food and when they wake up they set the half eaten food and an empy glass of milk so the kids know Santa visited and left them the presents.

In our case, we left Santa a beer or two and some biscuits, we weren't sure why and the next morning we'd always wonder why our Dad has a hangover. But yeah, it's just a tradition for the kids.

Anyway though, it's Christmas now and being the drunk sod I am I'm going to wake up a bit later this Christmas than I usually do. Strange has Christmas gets less exciting for me each passing year, makes me all nostalgic of the good old times. :)

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!

What I got:

Albums:
Delirious: The Mission Bell
Delirious: Now is the Time live DVD/CD bundle

Games:
Twilight Princess (YEAAAAH!H!!! AWESOME GAME!)
Electroplankton for the DS <--I love this game too. very creative.

And probably the best gift is a 4-channel (2 mono, 2 stereo) professional mixer for my little recording studio. It's small but absolutely perfect for my needs. It will make my recording work a lot easier now that I can hook up my MT-200, MT-32, CM-500, and my GT-6 guitar pedal all at once! Also got some sweet professional headphones to work with as well.

'Tis a good Christmas. T'will be a good new year!

Which version of TP did you get?(I actually have both, but can only play the GCN version as I don't have a Wii, which means no bunnies either)

Bunnies? I don't get you.

Anyway I got the GC version. I want to get the Wii version too even if I don't have a Wii.
