The Whispered World
I just found about this game in some obscure greek forum poll about the best adventure games of the 2010, and it looks pretty impressive! The animation is irregular, sometimes it's very good, sometimes it has too few frames, but I like the cartoony style of the game.
Here's the english trailer
Does anybody know more about this game?

Re: The Whispered World
Unfortunately the reviews were somewhat poor for it.
"Dense dialogue and illogical puzzles get in the way of The Whispered World's outstanding artwork and surreal atmosphere."
"Too many puzzles that defy logic
Excessive dialogue slows the game down
Erratic voice acting, including a whiney, nasally protagonist."

A bit off-topic, but I just saw screenshots from the newest game by the creators of The Whispered World:

Amazing, isn't it?
One more screenshot can be found over at Adventure Gamers.

Re: The Whispered World
Oh, that one also looks amazing.
I don't mind illogical puzzles, as I enjoyed Gobliiins and Discworld which were so illogical and idiotic that none of the walkthroughs I read got the solutions of the puzzles right, at least the part about which action causes which reaction.
I do mind the bad voices, so I'll see if there's an option to turn these off, as in Gemini Rue. Thanks for the info.

We need to donate enough money to AGDI so they can hire that artist!
Re: The Whispered World
Like good solar panels, I'm afraid that all his yearly production has been bought by Germany for the next fifteen years.

That screen shot is lovely! I'm jealous of their skill!
