If you just want a hint, you can ask us here and it will be given. Otherwise...

King's Quest VGA is identical in gameplay to Sierra's original King's Quest and also it's own rerelease. Any walkthrough will work just fine. I suggest checking out www.gamefaqs.com for any FAQs and walkthroughs you could ever want.

"May the way of the hero
lead to the Triforce."

You could check out Erpy's walkthrough on the main Tierra site (www.tierraentertainment.com). The one posted for KQ1VGA at GameFAQs is an older version (also Erpy's) of the one on this site. <a href="http://www.tierraentertainment.com/KQ1. ... is the direct link to the KQ1VGA page. You'll find the walkthrough at the bottom.

~Wolfgang

I looked for that one and couldn't find it. I guess I didn't scroll down far enough. Maybe it should be moved to an easier to find location. (hint for whoever maintains the web site) <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... s/wink.gif ALT=";)">

"May the way of the hero
lead to the Triforce."

Well, there's also the navigation bar on the left side of the screen. Click the "Walkthrough" link and it will automatically scroll the page down to the bottom where the link can be found. <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... /smile.gif ALT=":)">

~Wolfgang

"Rumplestiltskin" and you have to reverse it (nikstlitselpmur). In your post it looks like you forgot the last "t".

~Wolfgang

That beanstalk really drived me nuts...so I think I would prefer the key than the beans...<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... s/wink.gif ALT=";)">

The beanstalk isn't really that hard if you know where to click. Regardless, I noticed its difficulty is toned down in KQ1VGA 3.0.

<img src="http://httpd.chello.nl/c.vanempel/Nashl ...

I find the beanstalk easy....especially in the VGA remake. But it isn't that hard in the other games either.

"Requires MCGA, CGA, VGA, PGA, or TA-RA-RA-BOOMGA!!" -Gary Owens, SQ4

Hmm...didn't Erpy make a Walk-through for Kings Quest I VGA and said that the beanstalk also drove one of the developers crazy? <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... s/wink.gif ALT=";)">
