2 weeks on the trident..need help tried very hard

My computer is too slow and when I make a diversion with the sea horse I don't have time to take the trident. I get in but when I click on the trident it's always too late. The guards get me all the time...I've been trying over and over again. It gets frustrating Is there a walkthrough or something because the game is very interesting and I don't want to abandon. I tried to buy a version at the store but no luck. I figure with a version I could have a walkthrough...Thanks <p></p><i></i>

The speed of your computer should not be an issue, if I recall correctly. Have you tried messing with the speed settings. Are you sure you're actually clicking ON the trident? (i.e: the red dot of the hand cursor is on the trident itself) What kind of death message do you get? And what is the speed of your computer?<br><br>Finally, there's no official version in stores. I have a pentium 2...the red dot is on the hand as soon as I slap the sea horse. Than I get in the treasure room and no matter where I click there is a crown appearing and I have no time to get nothing and the guards get me. Unless I don't look at the right place I don't know what to do anymore <p></p><i></i>
