Hey folks,
This just occured to me as I checked the forums- I've been playing a lot of freeware RPG games, made with RPG Maker and the like (I like RM2K quite a bit).
Since I've seen adventure games done with the RPG engine, or RPG's which are really stories where you sometimes fight random battles and get items (not so far from QFG, I guess), I was wondering if anyone has done/knows of any Sierra (or Sierra-style) games done as RPG's, or with RPG Maker, or etc? I'm not asking anyone to make them, I just thought it'd be an interesting question to ask.

Have you heard of "Game Maker"? YoYo Games is the owner of it now.
I know of one game on there that's a little like what you're talking about

You may be able to find more on there? Otherwise, I guess the game market is too hi-tech to still make games as awesome as QG these days
