Looking for a hint....werewolf hunting

I've found my werewolf, and I've got my "silver bullet", but the problem is when I shoot, it does nothing to harm him. Surely I've missed something. Do I need to add a weight or poison or something?

Right after posting that topic, I got an idea, and tested it. Unfortunately, the Internet went down then, so I didn't get to respond until now...my idea worked. I guess it just required putting my thoughts on paper in order for me to solve the puzzle.

Now I'm stuck somewhere else, but I'll wait a week or two to ask anything and maybe even write down my puzzle on paper
