You know, I have started on a translation myself and I have to say it's truly a lot of work. You can't just litteraly translate every message in the game, because parts which sound right in one language sound weird in another one. (all your base are belong to us.. <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... /laugh.gif ALT=":lol"> )

And if there are any puns included, it gets even worse, for those never make sense if you translate them litteraly. Same story for death messages. And sometimes I am just wishing there was a dutch-speaking Emily at my place to keep an eye on what I type. (that's an inside joke that nobody but QFG-board members will understand)

I'm not sure if there's anyone working on a Spanish translation right now, but if you're truly impatient, why don't you try to contact that person and offer a helping hand?

Hi Leandro! Actually, Leandro already HAS made the Spanish translation for the King's Quest game! He's helped out so much, there...and was actually the first person to make any translation...and to bring up the idea of making translated versions altogether. Don't worry, we haven't forgotten you! We've asked Chris Jones to implement a feature into AGS to make translation work easier. Once this is done, we'll continue on translated versions of the game! So, no worries...you're work is still on our minds<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... /smile.gif ALT=":)">

Anonymous Game Developer #1
