My QG website

#1 Post by Bonehead » Tue Oct 19, 2004 11:39 pm

well this site sucks because its still under construction (well...as much construction as a proboards website can be involved in), but I could use a couple of people to help out or do some shit like that....im really in no mood to explain cause im tired...but I think you get the idea...so drop on by and gimmie your thoughts and such...any people who like Quest for Glory, or any other Sierra game, feel free.

that post didn't look to profesional at all. AND THAT'S COMING FROM ME! But seriously, people aren't going to want to work for you if the second line says shit and you say you're lazy

TRANSLTAION:

hey anyone wanna do some work for me? I'm so friggin lazy and just don't give a Sh!t.

atleast TRY to make it look proffessional. Erpy over there has ESL and his Grammar FAR exceeds mine then again I have only gone to an English school for 3 years starting on 4.

bottom line: keep it professional

EDIT: Just checked the site and although it shows potential the QFG1 portion has it spelt walkthru where everywhere else is walkthrough. Don't make a forum for the hell of it. This forum is succesful because it was announced on the website it was based off of and is generally used discussing AGD Fan games

BTW Welcome to the boards and enjoy your stay.

Sorry, but it's against our policy to have people advertise things here. Most of the time, members who've been involved in the community are given a certain amount of leniency, but I don't want people's first post to be an advertisement.

hey I actually will be posting here to be fair... but about the whole un-proffesional thing, it doesn't really matter to me. I don't want to sound profesional because 1- i was tired, 2- im not trying to get people to actually work here, so why bother making it sound like an interview, 3- the point of my website is just a laidback place, though the link was removed, i still want to prove my point.
Also, it's not that im lazy, I just hadn't gotten to work everything out yet, such as how to make custom avatars and what not (which I can now, and Im working on it)
Lastly, Its not just made "for the hell of it", it was made mainly as a place to put screenshots for people like me, who look everywhere for screens. It will save them alot of trouble. So by making my site, I wanted to mainly use it as a place to put all my screens for everyone to use, not that it matters since my link is gone...well if anyone cares about the site (no oe, but I still am gunna offer) just PM and ill give you the link for a bunch of screens.

Hmm, slightly off-topic perhaps, but have you guys noticed Sierra has put up updates for their old games again? SQ, KQ, QFG... Pretty cool!

And welcome to the forums, Bonehead. Hope you enjoy your stay.

(Come on Erpy, give this guy a break, he's just showing off his website.)

AFAIK, they were always there. You just had to find them manually on their FTP.

I see. Well, the download links were added in August (or so it says), so I thought they were just added.

thanks for the offer Rog... All I really want is a site where people post screens of QG games, and, if they feel like it, chat about the game. Mainly jsut the screens though...cause I know how hard it is to find alot of them...matter of fact, Im still missing quite a few, and a number of others are poor quality...
