Hi everyone, I'm new to this forum and just thought I'd drop by and introduce myself :)
I'm a 22 yo female, come from the cold North and have loads of interests. Among them are of course video gaming, chatting and browsing the web. I'm a huge King's Quest fan and have been ever since I played King's Quest VII at the age of 12, when it came with the first computer I ever had ;) After that I've played all eight of the games including the remakes and although I love them all, KQ7 is and will always be my favorite :D I'm greatly impressed by the AGDI remakes and especially KQ2-Romancing The Stones.....of course I am also anticipating the publishing of QFGII although I've sadly never played the original game :o Enough said.....hi again everyone and I'm looking forward to spending more time here on the forum ;)

Hey, welcome to the forums, I'm Broomie.

If you're interested to know IA (another independant group of game makers) are making a KQ3 remake.

Welcome. It's nice to have someone around who values KQ7 more than most people. I like that game a lot as well.

Hiya Spikey and thanks for the welcome :D Don't understand how people can not like KQ7......is there anything at all that is bad about that game??? It's also the only KQ game I've played almost entirely without a walkie :o

Well, the game was a bit more simple than the previous King's Quests. The interface was very übersimplistic. But I liked the story and the graphics a lot.

KQ7 is a great game, just the singing at the beginning and weird animation I don't like. Yet it was enjoyable and thought the music was great. Especially the woods theme.

Selene - Check your PM's.

Got it, cheers ;)

Yeah, the interface was very simple but it made it kinda easier for more inexperienced gamers like I was when I first tried it. The first time I tried the other KQ games I didn't understand much of the interface at all :rolleyes Figuring out what to do was a bit tricky though at certain places and it took a lot longer to play than the other games(although now I can go through it in less than a couple of hours). The music and graphics are awesome, I especially like the themes from the Woods and Etheria :D

Meet Father Ghostface, Selene. Don't fear him. He's not evil nor dark, though maybe he wants to be, he's just someone that....well....likes potatoes and sees the future with ketchup.

Hi Selene I am always more happier to see more girls on this forums.

I bid your welcome to this Palace of Games's wisdom.

I bear the title AGDI the Priceless Entertainer because I always bring to Moderators a priceless troubles to handle with hehehe :evil .

I'm one of the oldest members here. :D I was going to quit here in 2001 but AGC1 wich is a girl, lured me with her female perfume and a rope and I have been locked here ever since then. Girls can never resist me once they get to know me hehehe.

Everybody here looks as me as a big useless Joker.

I'm trying to rework on Larry Laffer 3 in VGA now.

BTW I'm 6 years older than you. :o

My life is just like Leisure Suit Larry. In others word i always make girls and feminists smile and laugh ......at me.

Please stay here as long as possible for us boys Selene. ;)

I'm too from north as you can see I'm from Iceland and the only member from that land. Thats makes me even more as a special guest here.

A very charming introduction indeed and as with every welcome I feel more and more at home here ;) And oh, don't think you'll get rid of me that easy.........I'm pretty much like glue; once I get stuck somewhere I stay there for life :p

Like I said I got a flavors of words that women can't resist. I have always wondered what this forums could be without me here.

But I guess I can never see that because nobody here wants me to leave. :cry

Welcome to the forums, Selene. Get comfortable; it's going to be a wild ride! :D

Going by your handle, would I be correct in assuming you have a penchant for ancient mythology?
