hehe. Well it would be nice to have it in KQ2 VGA style, even though MoE is amazing, it would be nice to have it with proper GUI's and the other classic features. ;)

Actually, a chap that goes by the chick-magnet net handle of "WampaOne"......... hehe.... I mean, actually, this guy I know from the AGS forums, Hollister Man, is doing just that, though I have not heard from him in a while. I hope he continues to pursue this endeavour.

because most people had a bad enough time playing moe the first time and wont want to play any game with the same even if its a remake, besides the plot would be a mess trying to rewrite because you would have to create a ton of backgrounds new puzzles because the combat and maps are such a huge part of the game.

I have to say MoE brought me a lot of joy over the years, even though I never played it. I've always thought the reviews of it by disgruntled fans of the origional Kings Quest games were extreamly hilarious to read. I remember back when it first came out I went through one gaming site that had average scores from 1 to 10 based on all the reviews for a game, and MoE had a 2.5 overall rateing out of 10. Quest for Glory 5 had around a 7 so I bought that one and didn't bother with MoE.

MoE had over 90% on always every review I've seen.

Ok...

On a scale of 1-10, MoE gets a -2 for effort, and a -1 for graphics.

There, now you;ve seen a review with a low score. :)

As for remakes, I'm in progress on one. Its slow going, but I may just make it up using Graham sprites and my concept sketches as backgrounds and call it The Even More Incredible Mask of Eternity. :)
