yeah, somehow, i can see Chris saying that the minute he realized he had a daughter .... it's a funny thing, though, not a bad thing.
and glad you're back,Deb! glad it all went well, so happy for the three of you.

congratulations and all but as soon as that baby enters the teen years you'd better have a million dollars! Every teenager I know needs at least 20 a week to live it's sad really not to mention a cell phone and personal computers and ugh I'll never parent a child now even though I said it would be interesting ...wait a minute I'm a teenager aww crap I feel so ashamed of myself. Well this made me realize not to ask for much and not take what I have for granted so I thank you and happy trails

Wow. I may be a little late, but congratulations! Your daughter is truly beautiful and a shining example of the miracle of life. I'm sure you'll both be wonderful parents, since a child born of loving parents gets the best start in life that one can receive. My sincerest and most heartfelt wishes to you both!
Darn! I think I just destroyed my icy cold and dispassionately logical facade.

They're not my words, just the best ones I could find.
I trust you three are all doing well and are strapped in for the biggest ride of your lives...being a family. I'm sure the reality of it is quite...painfully obvious to Deb, but has it sunk in for you yet, Chris?
In any case, I wish all of you the best in your futures.

am I crazy or am I the only one that doesn't want my baby pictures on the internet?
Ima save these for ten years and find whatever school she goes to (25 year old walks into a 4th grade class) "are you Katherine Martin? These are for you" (sets up a projection screeen in the aditorium) and hilarity ensues then again Chris would prolly kill me before I got the chance
heh heh heh pure evil! Congratulations yet again though and my third ap[oligy if THAT was offensive (this time I really don't think it is)

I was a bit tearful yesturday though as its very overwelming (sp?) but I'm coping as is Chris, we're helping each other.
Thing is he's back to work now and I miss him loads, its quite hard.

Well, it won't be too long (maybe a few months) before she's sleeping through the night. What's fun is when she learns to get out of her bed. A few weeks ago I awoke to find the refrigerator open, and the water pitcher missing. I found it in their bedroom.... empty. When I walked over to get it, I found where the water had gone. I'm pretty sure I used at least 5 towels to soak up all the water.

Congratulations Vamb and Angelus for your baby! I wish he/she has
always good health. I am sure s-he is lucky because s-he has mature parents.
The sleepless nights...lol... i had such an experience when i was a student
and had my own house. Beside me there was a family with a baby. For 3-4 months, i do not remember exaclty, i was sleepless like his parents

He was screaming not just crying! What an experience! Especially when i had to study for the exams...

Thanks Zeus, and its a girl.
She's getting better at sleeping and is awake more during the day now! I'm just sitting here with her in my arms as I type as shes wide awake

which is why its taking bloody ages to write this post lol
As for me I'm not to bad, a bit down with the baby blues and still very sore but apart from that I'm just trying to cope, its such a huge change.
Angelus has been brill though!!! Have to get him something good for his birthday

Yes, very cute indeed. Remember to keep us updated with posts and pics of little Katherine! I know it must be hard to visit us at the forums very often when you're so busy with her, but we all appreciate the pics and stories so much!
Good luck to you and Chris, and I hope you guys are at least getting
some sleep.

Its very very hard!! and you relize how much you take for granted.
Right now i'm sitting with her in my arms as shes got the hic ups lol
Its hard and sometimes I wonder if I can do it but its worth it.
