Hey Angelus, if you don't have a translated Seiken Densetsu 3 SNES ROM, you might want to get one now for Vamp...

Actually, you'd better not. Due to the monstrous replay value of that game, it's unlikely she'll pay any attention to him until she has beaten it at least 3 times.

OMG I so totally loved SD3, I strongly recommend it. Not as much as Secret of Mana though. I remember that device thingy through which me, my friend and a brother could play simultaneaously, so all three characters were manual. I always got stuck with Purim somehow  :rolleyes

On other notice: side scrolling adventure rocks. I bought Metroid Fusion and I'm totally hooked to it.  :eek

About time.  How far are you, Spikes?  And if you ever need help, drop me a line.

Heh, thought you would've got that months ago, Spikey. Speaking of which, I'm still looking out for Metroid Zero (the remake of the first game).

Yea I have got SD3, never really played it properly though!

BTW is Sword of Mana different to Secret of Mana?
BTW Who here actually has and is playing San Andreas here? What do you think of it? How far are you?

Spoiler (highlight to view):
I've not long reached San Fierro and have completed a few missions and bought Zero's RC Shop and completed those missions. Just doing some of the Triad missions now. Also I cant BELIEVE Big Smoke and Ryder are selling "yay" with the Ballas! How can they turn their backs on the Grove Street Family!!
I take it nobody else has San Andreas then?

I have it, I just don't read this thread much (mostly cause it's got 29 pages and I hate doing stuff, and sometimes cause the name of the thread changes...)

I'm bugger all into it at the moment. For some reason, and this is weird I know, I love the game I just don't want to play it. And when I do I get bored with it very quickly. So I go and check out Carisma Carpenter in some old Buffy Episodes instead. On that subject, do you think she's better looking in Buffy or Angel?

I already finished it, didn't need any help so far. But only with 51% of the expansions :lol that's hilarious. I need to replay it.

No I didn't. Actually, my Metroid interest is pretty recent. I liked the old games, but now I look at them differently. I'll buy Metroid Zero Mission tomorrow, heard it's a great remake.

I thought you said you based a few of your game purchases on this thread? You must have read it a bit then.

So it has 29 pages and you hate doing stuff... okay... what does that mean?

And sometimes the name changes? Yea its changed about twice... Like you said there arent that many threads with 29 pages so I doubt it would be difficult to find.

I too got bored of San Andreas for awhile and played Killzone online alot but then went back to SA and have been playing non-stop (if thats possible with a 2 month old baby lol).

EDIT: Its got 28 pages btw  ;)

Yeah, thats true. You caught me out.  ;)
Angelus3K wrote:So it has 29 pages and you hate doing stuff... okay... what does that mean?
I hate doing stuff, like pressing numbers on my computer screen with my mouse to get to a new page. Actually, that was more of a problem with my old dial-up account and that I don't have the patience to generally load up large threads.

Yeah I know. Just having a go....  :D

No, I don't think that is possible. As I said, I prefer to perve on chicks in Buffy as it breaks the monotony of playing SA.

EDIT: Its got 28 pages btw  ;)
Oh well, if I keep dribbling then it will be 29 pages.  :D

I'm onto the last mission of San Andreas at the moment.
One of the longest missions in the whole game as well. Stuffed up when I spun out on the bridge over the freeway chasing Tenpenny in the firetruck with Sweet hanging on the ladder. I'll try again soon.
Aww man... Even though you said it was the last mission I still had to read your spolier tag lol!!

You going for 100% Skyshark? Deb got me the Official Strategy Guide along with the game for my Birthday back in Novemeber so I'll use that when I've finished story mode to get 100% Mwhahahahahha!

lol San andreas CRACKS me up. My guy has as much muscle as he can get, is all tattooed up, and is dressed like Tupac!

I think its loads of fun. Listening to the music in the game brings back old memories....

I'm stuck at the part of the game where I have to rob a military outpost near the docks. I can't get that stupid crate lifter thing to lift the crates!

I think you have to use the right analoug stick or something to lift it, im sure it explains it in the mission instructions.

Best thing to do is steal a forklift and just press every button and figure out how to raise/lower the forklift.

My CJ is also buffed out to maximum muscle and has 90% stamina and has reached Hitman level on Pistol, Machine guns, shotgun and MP5.

Its cool blasting away holding 2 Mini-SMG's!

The biggest disappointment of 2004;
Prince of Persia: Warrior Within. I liked it at first, but now I detest it.

This sequel is totally out of place. It turned into something bloody and violent, or "mature" as some people will call it. Takes away all the innocence and naiveness that was the first game. Sands of Time was stylish, funny, beautiful. Warrior Within is a big letdown for me. It's supposed to surprise you, but well, it doesn't. It's disappointing.

Might do, see how I feel. Anyway, with the last mission, it's very drawn out and there are quite a few opportunities for CJ to die if you're not careful, so I've got a feeling I might end up retrying a couple of times if I'm not careful again.

How far are you into the game, btw?

I have just bought the Wang Cars building next to CJ's garage in San Fierro and the ? mission icon has just appeared up near Las Ventruas where you have to drive the Monster Truck so I'm not into Las Venturas yet.

Hey we should upload pics of our CJ's and see what they look like! I'll upload mine later.

EDIT:

Here's my CJ, standing beside his Monster Truck!!

:) I'm happy.

Buying Tales of Symphonia is gonna be one of the best decisions I made in 2005.

Has this thread ever dropped from the first page? The last thread that made it a year was the future remakes thread.

Righto, I'll keep my trap shut until you say you've finished it, as I don't want to accidentally spoil anything else. :lol

Anyway, I'll have to dig up my old webcam (or maybe get a new one) before I can take a shot of my CJ, so it could be a while.

lol that how my CJ looks but hes got a black Tank top, green bandana with the knot in the front on his head, and green jogging pants.

I have the best lowrider you can make in the game as far as I know of....

Not so great at pistols, and weapons period...however I have loads of points in driving and motorcycles. :lol

While I was on the phone to Brooms he mentioned he now has Smackdown Vs Raw!!

So the fabled match can at last commence..... well not just now! I gave my Network Adapter to my sister along with a hard drive for her PS2 so I have to wait till I get another adapter before we can battle, and a battle it shall be!!  :hat

After all that bragging of yours about this, I think I already made up my mind about who to cheer for. ;)
