Ooohhhhh, Tekken 5. My new purchase when it comes out.

Anyone ever see a sequal to Soul Blade (PS1) ? I love that game.

Soul Calibur and Soul Calibur 2, if I'm not mistaken. It's a pity that SC was only on the Dreamcast.

Well, you COULD get the Arcade version, if you have $200-250 to spend. And live in the US.

In comparison, here's a US Dreamcast with the game for $65-70 (if you buy, rather than bid). And worldwide shipping.

Sunday. Sunday, Sunday, Sunday.

Sunday, I took apart my Network adapter to try and get it to work with my PS2 HD. For some reason my PS2 doesnt supply the HD with power so it doesnt work. For the past couple of weeks I've been using my sister's PS2 to play San Andreas and my other games off the HD. I cant even play San Andreas now as I cant stand the load times between missions (lol) plus the "pop-in" its quite bad compared to playing from the HD as there is NO "pop-in" whatsoever which is awesome so when your flying a plane a building doesnt suddenly appear as it loads of the DVD its already there loaded straight from the HD.

So Sunday I took it apart so that I could connect a PC power supply to it instead.

I then plugged the dismantled Network adapter into the PS2 then plugged the HD into the power supply to test it but it didnt work as a PC PSU needs to be connected to a Motherboard in order for it to be turned on. So in the end I took a power connecter from my PC and stuck that into the HD and plugged that into the Network adapter and Hey Presto it worked!

But I couldnt have that as my PS2 was standing on my desk next to my PC instead of in the cupboard under the TV and my PC case was off making the fan noise alot louder...

So I'm just gonna take my PS2 back to the shop I bought it and say it has a faulty power supply (which is true!) and hope they give me a new PS2!!

(Just thought I'd share that with ya!)

EDIT: In other news "Fight 2005" the case of Broomie Vs Angelus on Smackdown Vs Raw has been cancelled indefinetly due to personal reasons. Thankyou for your interest in this match but please, try to get on with your lives. If anybody else out there has Smackdown Vs Raw and would like to challenge myself - you know where to post!

Well, in regards to my PS2's problem not working with the HD. I dug out my warrenty letter and took my PS2 back to COMET (where I bought it) and I said it has a "faulty power supply" which is technically true!! So they said they'd send it to their service centre and I will get a replacement sent out in about a week.

I just hope they send the replacement and dont bother to actually check my PS2 lol. If they do and they just send it back and say its fine it works then I'll just say, Yea it works but the power supply is faulty its not supplying power to the HD through the network adapter and I'll have to see what they say to that...

Anyway wish me luck!

Hey Pidgeot,

Just thought you might like to know I nearly have you!!

I'm playing Pokemon - Leaf Green and my Pidgey just evolved in Pidgeotto!

The remake is really cool, exactly like the original gameboy version but I like the additional features like the VS Seeker item which lets you go back and re-challenge trainers!

Just waiting for my lazy Magikarp I paid $500 which does nothing to evolve into the mighty GYARADOS! (Its at Level 19 so I think just one more level!)

Currently using:

Level 19 Magikarp

Level 20 Pikachu (gotta have the Pika!)

Level 18 Butterfree (Evolved from Caterpie not wild)

Level 23 Charmeleon (Evolved from the Charmander I chose at the start)

Level 19 Pidgeotto (Evolved from Pidgey)

and a Level 20 Mankey (which I think should evolve soon!)

I also got a bunch of others but I just use these and leave them in Bills PC except for a Meowth I put in the daycare for a laugh!

What Pokemon do you/did you use when you played it?

I haven't really played it much at all since it came out, because I've been too busy - I've only just beaten Brock. However, I did code a system that calculates and stores various information about my POKÃ©MON (IVs, EVs, etc.), so I can easily tell you that this is what I have:

Bashful Ivysaur (L. 16, ID 02337, OT Michael) - I prefer Grass POKÃ©MON
Bashful Weedle (L. 3, ID 02337, OT Michael)
Rash Caterpie (L. 4, ID 02337, OT Michael)
Timid Rattata (L. 3, ID 02337, OT Michael)
Modest Pidgey (L. 13, ID 02337, OT Michael) - well, duh.

Still looking for a Shiny one, though.
Hardy Pikachu (L. 6, ID 02337, OT Michael)

I also have a Shiny Rattata waiting on another game, but that's another story

And for the record...

Your Pidgeotto needs to grow 17 more levels to evolve.
Your Magikarp needs to grow 1 more level to evolve.
Your Charmeleon needs to grow 13 more levels to evolve.
Your Mankey needs to grow 8 more levels to evolve.

I'm just basically using the same Pokemon I used when I played Pokemon Red back in '95.

Cant remember why I chose them lol but from watching the cartoon you just gotta have a Pikachu lol!!

I've just beat Lt. Surge and got the thunderbadge.

I wonder if they'll remake Gold or Silver... Emerald and Ruby are for GBA already arent they?

I dont think I really got into them as they're based on the Johto league arent they?

I only watched the Indigo and Orange leauge when I was younger.

BTW What happened in the Johto league, did Ash win? I recall he lost the Indigo league but won the Orange leauge. Was there another leauge after Johto or is that what this Pokemon Advanced is, which is on TV now. Is Ash still in that? What about Brock, Misty and Tracy and Pikachu lol

There has been talk about a G/S remake, but there hasn't been anything conclusive. I kinda doubt it, though, as all 386 are already available (though we're still missing a few outside of Japan)

I'm guessing you mean Ruby and Sapphire. Actually, there is an Emerald version (special version like Yellow and Crystal), but it's only out in Japan ATM.

[spoiler]IIRC, Ash lost the Johto League during the semifinals.

As for PKMN Advanced, that's the Hoenn adventures. Ash basically started from the very beginning, only taking Pikachu with him.

Both Misty and Brock left Ash shortly before the end of the Johto series. I don't know about Tracy, as some of the final Orange League episodes and almost all of the Johto episodes weren't aired in Denmark, but I do know that he left.
However, Brock rejoined a little while into Hoenn, and Misty makes a guest appearance. She doesn't join the party, however.

Instead, Ash is now accompanied by another female trainer, May. She is the daughter of the Petalburg City Gym Leader, and meets Ash while getting a Torchic from Prof. Birch. Even though May doesn't really want to become a Trainer - she just wants to travel the world - after seeing Ash with Pikachu, she "gives in" anyway. Though considering what happened to her bike (think back to why Misty followed Ash

), that's probably another reason why she follows him.

Once they reach Petalburg, May's little know-it-all brother, Max, joins the party.[/spoiler]

I don't really know more about how Ash is doing, as the new episodes aren't being broadcast here.

Crazy, so why did Ash start all over again from the beginning with just Pikachu? How is he gonna beat other people and become a Pokemon master with just 1 pokemon?

tsk tsk angelus you're a pokemon noob. than again it was I was the prime target of it and my deck is sitting beside me so I geuss we all need to relive these things sometimes. Anyways just posting cause I am so fuggin happy! I just got a slim PS2 for 80 bucks CANADIAN that's like 5 american! also I got FFX for 20 and The getaway for 9! with the slowest shipping and all it came out to 125 american. I think I got a good deal especially cause I've never had anything shipped right to my door before so that's cool. Can't wait till Feb 2nd. What did you guys pay for your systems?

Cant remember exactly how much I paid. I think it was about Â£170 plus another Â£70 for a 5 year warrenty.

I don't like the slim PS2's though, they do look cool but no HD support!! So I'd never get one.

ya but the big PS2 was 180 so paying 100 for hd support? I'd never need a hd anyways. still im only getting it for the metal gears and maybe a few GTAs.

Yea for that price you may as well get the slimline one!!

I prefer to play my games of the HD though especially San Andreas as there is no "pop-in" at all :)

im not even a big fan of the whole sony thing but for 80 bucks and metal gears? why not. I played San Andreas 2 days ago and i thought it was pretty fun even with the barely noticable pop ins. The only time you can really tell is when you're flying high or driving past a bridge.

True, but when your doing a mission and your used to no pop in whatsoever and your trying to see whats ahead it gets pretty annoying lol!

I just hope those fools at Comet fix my PS2! I'm still waiting for it.
